The location was very good, far enough out of the center for quiet, but close enough to get the trolley bus into town.
Very clean.
It was as described, bathroom small but not a problem.

I am from Sturgis, I love this city. South Dakota residents who work in the hospitality industry are the greatest. I know, I've been all over the nation. People here like to please visitors and as a result there is alot of repeat customers. I am retired, I travel the nation, coast to coast and this city, this state, rocks the house.

Sturgis is a town struggling with its identity outside of a annual rally location. Everything in town is for sale and way overpriced. Food was mediocre and tourists were looking for all of the iconic "Sturgis" bars and hot spots to be opened to visit, however, they only open during the week of the Sturgis rally. Big money makers have more or less ruined this town's economy.

I deliberately waited until after rally, only to discover that there isn't much to Sturgis. Only 25 miles to Rapid City, I will just add Natl Cemetery to my trip to Rapid, or find another place for my time in northern hills. There were limited options for food delivery.

Other than the Car Museum, for a non-motorcyclist there's not a lot to see or do there if you go in a time other than Motorcycle week(s). Town is prettily-located, but there's not a "normal", family restaurant anywhere. Everything is geared for the motorcycle crowd.

We've been to Sturgis 4 times, 3 of those in a row yearly for the 4th of July. There are so many things to do with in a good distance, & you always find something new each time you come back. You don't have to be a biker to visit, this area is welcoming to all.

Location was great for highway access.
Location was great for highway access. It is close to downtown. There is a restaurant close to the hotel. Note that everything closes very early in Sturgis including the pizza places so don't expect a late dinner.
We had an amazing experience at the Sturgis Motel - the entire facility was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The service here was remarkable - the wonderful lady at the reception desk was so friendly and even gave us the option to stay in an upgraded room which had recently been remodelled. This motel was our best stay during our entire trip in the Black Hills, I'd recommend this to everyone needing a place to stay in the area!
We were treated with the upmost respect, courtesy, and honesty. I would recommend anyone to stay and enjoy this great place. Every time I have to travel to take my boys back and forth to college we will stay here. This place has more respect for people than your chain hotels, motels and inns!!! By far never will we stay at another place than here!! We even got the best recommendation as to where to go have dinner!!
Ohh I loved 🥰 the hot breakfast, Cup cakes 🧁 but the multiple choices of of almost everything saved my day as I had go a long way home.
The rooms & beds were cleaned and specially bathroom.
Well maintained property, staff was welcoming & friendly, security cameras everywhere made me feel so safe.
Will definitely visit again if I came to Sturgis again
This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of town, directly across the street from a wonderful bar/restaurant. The rooms are great (I love the 2 levels, loft) and huge windows. Every thing about this place is fabulous!
I got "stuck" here due to a snowstorm and had to spend 3 nights instead of 1 and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
Great experience. We had planned to stay one night and decided to extend another night! Krista was extremely friendly and shared several recommendations of local businesses as well as helping us make a plan for riding through the black hills. Very nice room and conditioner location in of Sturgis!
I found this to be a tidy, quiet and well kept property with comfortable clean rooms with enough power outlets and USB ports for all the tech one travels with. The deck and sitting areas outside were welcomed after a long days journey. Next time visiting Sturgis I’m staying here.
This area books up like crazy! It's in Sturgis, but close to Deadwood and Mount Rushmore and all the attractions. If you are looking for a rustic, no-frills, cheap rate, this is your place. Clean, the hosts were awesome, and the location was easy to see it all.
Very nice helpfull staff, plenty towels and good toiletries, swimming pool area getting new flooring so a bit dusty in this area. Breakfast was plentiful, eggs and sausage cooked fresh by Judy a lovely touch. I would recommend this hotel.
The room smelled very bad, there was a dead fly stuck to the bathroom mirror and yellow stains running down the wall. Gross.
The breakfast was the best part of the hotel.
There was never anyone at the front desk.
Breakfast was great! The hotel was in the perfect location, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. The staff was kind and helpful throughout our stay.
I prefer older, drive-up-to-the-room motels, and the Sturgis Motel is that. It's clean and quiet (not during Rally, of course), the bed was comfortable, and the towels are of good quality.
Lovely and beautiful home with lots of outdoor hang out space. Amazing and friendly little dogs and cats keeping watch over the property. Excellent for Sturgis.
