The staff was friendly ..And the facility is clean
We went to Falls Park. The 360 degree view from the top of the tower (83 steps or yes there is an elevator) was amazing. We toured the Courthouse Museum and Pettigrew Museum. Both of these were very interesting and I learned a great deal about the area. All three of these activities were FREE. We also like to go antiquing, and there are several fun places around Sioux Falls and Tea, SD to do this. The only thing I would do differently is go there during a warmer part of the year.

Sioux Falls is a delightful city.
Sioux Falls is a delightful city. It has so many events happening at any given time! I also did a Food Tour which had us trying some local food and drink. It's very walkable and there is art everywhere.

Lots to do, miles and miles (roughly 20) of bike trails.
Lots to do, miles and miles (roughly 20) of bike trails. Go to the Fallsnoff of Cliff Ave in Downtown and see the Waterfalls that got Sioix Falls its name. See several tourist attractions like the Sioix Falls Zoo, the USS South Dakota Battle Ship Memorial (its actually a concrete life size outline of the ship and is different). Enjoy several shopping areas most of which are withing 2 miles of this motel and others in the same area. Go for a night out at bars, nearby restraints like Cracker Barrel, Granite City and more or kick back, relax and watch a movie at the Cinemark 14 Movie Theater located about 3/4 mile North of the motel within walking distance and it as well is by Cracker Barrel and a amazing Ice Cream Shop called Cold Stone Creamery.

The facility was very clean, close to the highway, and staff was friendly. My room was enormous, and provided plenty of space for me to work and relax. I was only there one night, although if I were there for several days, this room would have been perfect for me to work during the day and and chill out/relax at the end of the day.
The shower was very tight, but not the end of the world.
The coffee in the lobby could have been much stronger, but that's my personal preference.

This hotel was a very good choice if you are stopping for a night. There are good restaurants close by and gas stations right across the street. The hotel room was very quiet, large and clean. For the money, I am pleased with staying there. They were working on the breakfast area and there wasn't much to choose from while we were there. I was disappointed that, this information wasn't communicated to us when we booked. But overall, the hotel is a great choice. The staff were excellent to deal with.

I know that some travelers like accommodations that are tip-top. I do too. But That isn't a priority with me. The rooms had a lived-in look with some wear and tear on the chair at the table, and carpeting also had some real-world wear and tear. Those didn't bother me. The staff, the breakfast, pool, and price offset the wear and tear and worn carpeting. We were there for medical purposes, so it was a short stay.
We came to Sioux Falls for a surgery and it was a very nice property but a pain to get to because of road construction (not the hotels fault obviously). When I walked in the front door, the pool chlorine smell was overwhelming and when we tried to go swimming later that evening, we couldn’t because our eyes were burning so bad. The hotel is older and it showed a lot in the bathroom by the shower area but definitely not a deal breaker. The staff was fantastic. Super friendly and made sure to let us know about facility hours, breakfast etc
The room was lovely, well appointed and clean so exceeded in most ways. The only reason I didnt rate it 5 stars is that it seemed small for the price and since it's in South Dakota not a major Mecca of entertainment or population. Having said that, the food was superb, the staff great, the room already mentioned and lovely location... so if I am back in Sioux Falls I'd certainly book here again.
The Historic Victorian was brilliant! Downtown Sioux Falls is a 5-minute walk from the front door! The neighborhood was beautiful and safe, my room was sparkling clean and comfortable, and the Inn's amenities are on-point (safe parking, a kitchen available for common use, a beautifully preserved sitting area, and a covered porch great for eating takeout on). The pictures don't do it justice!
We were in Sioux Falls for a b-ball tournament. Many other sporting events happening this weekend. Other hotels were going for 250-300 bucks per night. Baymont was half the price. It’s an older hotel that needs updating badly. Having said that,it’s a clean place that’s safe. I would rather stay at a one star hotel that’s decent then get gouged at the Holiday Inn.
The location for the hotel was about perfect for a weekend get away. Within a half hour walking distance of downtown Sioux Falls, several parks, and the Cathedral (more of a challenging walk). All of the staff were extremely friendly and the hotel was quite beautiful. Far exceeded my expectations.
Very nice place! We found the interior design very nice and cosy. The hotel is in a historic building - the former National Bank in Sioux Falls - and equipped with quality materials. The staff was very friendly - especially the service for parking. There is also a nice bar/restaurant in the hotel.
The staff was courteous, helpful, and professional. They answered any and all my questions and made sure my needs were met. I would recommend them to my friends, family, and colleagues. Location is close to airport and downtown. Impressed with this hotel!
The proximity to the SF airport was a real plus - in fact the primary reason we selected this hotel. We had a 7AM flight and didn't want to drive 2 hours to the airport the day of flight. We opted for a single room which was quite cozy
The room was comfortable and the temperature was good. Checking in was easy and the hotel was very close to our choice of restaurants. Overall i would stay here if i needed a place to stay in Sioux Falls.
great location, right on the river with easy access to footpath leading to Falls, easy access to downtown restaurants and bars, friendly helpful staff, having a tap house on site was extra bonus
There was a hot breakfast everyday with a different choice each day.
Very nice, quiet, clean hotel.
The evening front desk hostess was fabulous!
Will stay here again.
This hotel was one of the only hotels/motels that had available rooms in Sioux Falls. It costed over $300 for the night.
The front desk guy was really nice.
