Bigger than I thought. Most everything is located on or near main street, bar, restaurants. Not too much in outlying areas.Great civic center for concerts.Disapponted in hotel prices seem excessively high in town. That alone would keep me from coming back to visit and spend more time there.People there friendly, spoke to a few for info but a lot of new Flux of individuals who were not familiar with Peoria so not very helpful on directions and restaurants and bars to check out during my stay of those that I ask for inquiry.Ate at a Mexican restaurant food was good.Getting around Peoria was ok using map quest.Would avoid downtown hotels, their prices were obscene.

The room was filthy and the guest services were very rude. I took pictures, they wanted to charge us more for another room. We called the police because they refused to refund us our monies after we saw the room and chose not to stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place or booking.com

We visited a museum downtown, went to the IVY Club for dinner and drove around exploring. We lived in the area for 5 years back in the mid 80s and wanted to see the changes that had taken place. We didn’t have a lot of time to do much else. Maybe we will return for another visit.

Beautiful small city, easy to navigate (except one of the bridges across the Illinois River was closed for construction.) Several beautiful old homes and historic attractions, relaxing views of the river. Bradley University located there. Excellent highway access and decent proximity to Chicago, St. Louis and other major cities. Overall a very nice city.
My husband had to stay in the area for almost two weeks waiting for truck repairs. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The hotel is cleaner than most others I have stayed. The front desk is very responsive. They actually answer the phone when you call! One day my husband fell asleep on his phone and wouldn't answer. I was concerned and called the front desk. They were very helpful. He sent someone to check on him right away. If you are looking for a clean hotel and a friendly staff this is a very good value for the money.
My stay was excellent the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious waffles, eggs, sousage links, cereal, milk fruit yogurt, bread for toast ,muffins bagels, orange juice, coffee. Great place to stay close to major stores in the area plenty of parking, free WiFi 😀
My room was equipped with a college size fridge and microwave and a coffee maker.
The price is very reasonable! Breakfast options were varied enough, good tasting, and were kept filled up. The coffee was good tasting, which isn't always the case in hotels that I've stayed. There was plenty of parking. The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. Our room including the bathroom was clean and the bed/pillows comfortable.
Nearly brand new hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and quick with checking us in. We requested a room based on having our dogs with us which was honored (half the time other hotels do not read our special request and we end up on the highest floor trying to get down a busy elevator with pups who need to do their business).
Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Housekeeping staff very responsive and caring. Plenty of hot water in the AM. Good value for the money. Lots of nearby stores and restaurants. Not far from the Peoria riverside parks and entertainment.
Easy to get on and off 74. Close to restaurants in East Peoria. The bed was firm - like I like it. Staff was friendly. Basic continental breakfast that has become standard in most hotels. Stayed twice this summer.
Breakfast had lots of variety and was plentiful. The room included two beds and an area with couch with desk. Bathroom was clean. It seems they're doing their best with a motel which has seen better days.
The rooms were very clean and check in was simple and fast. My husband and I went to Craft Kitchen which is the restaurant/bar within the hotel and the bartender Chris was absolutely amazing.
Very nice breakfast selection, one of the best at a hotel during my travels. Great choices of food. I liked having Kelloggs cereals in the individual boxes. The choices of cereal were good.
The location was perfect. There was a snafu and there was an over booking issue. I am not sure where the glitch was but the hotel staff was very friendly and was able to find us a room.
