PS has improved since my last visit, COVID is in the rearview mirror and the town is alive again! The homeless situation is very much improved! The Zoo is a must-see as well as the Air Museum! Don't forget to visit the reservation for some great hikes and hopeful big-horn sheep sitings! And don't forget the tram!

Famous Palm Springs seems now to be more of a typical mass...
Famous Palm Springs seems now to be more of a typical mass market tourist town, with 2 major, long streets that include many big & small shops, restaurants, bars/clubs, & a 3rd side street that also has some of same but is more run-down & busy with 'drive-thru' local traffic & many condo complexes, some of which look somewhat 'run-down'.
Still, PS is luckily located right below a moderatly high series of desert mtn peaks which makes for a 'different', scenic Backdrop. While there could be even more semi-tropical Flowering plants placed downtown, there are certain areas where they stand out, making for some incredible visit-Pics. Other than a Casino& hotel complex a block or two away from downtown, the rest of PS seems old & run-down, but, now old desert towns tend to look that way.
Also, there are some other interesting, and even more upscale/modern towns just 4-5 miles south along Palm Canyon Dr. (or hwy 111), that are worth visiting or staying in (though usually at higher cost).

Loved the vintage vibe and history of the hotel.
Loved the vintage vibe and history of the hotel. Very clean. Alex takes care of everything from checkin to maintenance. Very efficient. Appreciated pet policy being that it is such a small common space. Place could use new towels and linens. However the size of the bungalos made up for it. Really enjoyed our stay and would def consider staying again.

We love Palm Springs and have stayed at several properties...
We love Palm Springs and have stayed at several properties there, but after our stay in the (glorious) Ricardo Suite at the Velvet Rope we have a vacation home to return to from now on. David Rios who designed all the suites and was our host, plus Kevin and Jeffery were as warm and accommodating as can be! We were delighted with every aspect of the hotel (touring many other suites there was also a visual treat), terrific pool deck, and we look forward to our return!!
Room was clean, decent size, and had been updated a little (they had replaced carpet with a hard floor, which is nice because it seems like carpet in older hotels is what retains old smells).
For the low cost (it was less than half the price of almost everything else we found in Palm Springs that weekend) and some negative reviews, we were expecting a seriously grungy hotel room. But it was actually pretty nice.
If you're only going to spend around $100 a night, don't be upset when you don't get the Ritz-Carlton.
Great location. Close to restaurants, bars, and supermarket.
walking distance from Ace hotel.
Big kitchen and fridge where we were able to cook during 4th of July weekend.
Complementary ice, bananas, rental bikes, which were all great.
Amenities are all Molt Brown which is a plus!
Shower was super strong and I appreciate the water pressure!!!
I have stayed in Ace, and Parker Palm Springs. They are good and fancy. This hotel is more friendly and comfortable. Great value.
Definitely want to come back!!
The Life House is a beautiful boutique hotel experience located perfectly central to all things Palm Springs. The property is impressive, with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff is so attentive and take pride in serving your every need. From the most comfortable bed to great you every evening, to lavish Le Labo products in the perfect pressure shower. Make sure to visit Minerva's for a breakfast sandwich before heading to the pool where sun and fun and maybe a few cocktails await you.
went traveling with some colleagues for a visit at coachella 2022.
found little paradise hotel as one of the most ok priced and best located hotels to stay at.
met with judy who is an amazing host and basically runs the whole daily operations at the hotel.
she made everything feel so simple and natural and helped us with any need we had.
it really felt like we were at home. and if youre looking for another "home" in palm springs this is the place for you.
Dan and Bella are the best. They helped me move my reservation around, helped us with our bags, got us extra wash clothes. The beds were large and comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give excellent on everything is because the shower needs to be updated, poor water pressure and old.
If you are looking for a five star spa hotel this is not for you, but if you can appreciate a little Palm Springs retro Adara will probably fit the bill.
The hotel is conveniently located south of Palm Springs, only 5 to 10 minutes drive from downtown. So pretty easy to go out and about if you’ve got a car, not so easy if you don’t. The employees are very friendly and always there to assist you. The receptionists, the valet, management, housekeeping, pool attendants and bartenders are all so accommodating and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is amazing.
We had a fabulous time. This little boutique hotel was exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet, intimate, clean and had all the amenities we needed for a quiet romantic getaway. We will definitely be back!
P.S. The staff went above and beyond to acccomodate our late arrival and were kind enough to let us stay a few extra hours to enjoy our stay. Alex was the BEST!
Good location situated not too far from downtown Palm Springs, the rooms were spacious & had all the amenities. The pool area & bar was good and open until late. The staff were incredibly welcoming & helpful, I had to check out my early due to some personal circumstances but the hotel were very understanding. I would stay here again.
After staying at a dozen different hotels, deciding if I should move to Palm Springs, I found this place. So cute and clean. Perfectly located and the staff is fantastic. I could not recommend this place enough if you’re trying to be budget conscious, but don’t wanna compromise on cleanliness or quality.
Fantastic boutique hotel offering great design, comfort and best possible location. We had two communicating rooms with a total of 3 bedrooms and two baths which was perfect for my wife and I and our 3 children aged 13, 11 and 9. They all loved Drift and enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend.
This was my second consecutive year at Alcazar Palm Springs. Had a clean comfortable room with private patio. The mini-fridge is a welcome touch. Pool area is inviting and relaxing. Downtown PS is an easy walk. This is a wonderful boutique hotel with a good price/value relationship.
Definitely the location. However the courtyard/pool area is a delight. An oasis in downtown of Palm Springs. The drinks at the pool bar are excellent. Best Blood Orange Margarita in Palm Springs! Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. We will definitely return to this hotel.
The room was very clean and pleasant.
The staff were snide and verging on rude. The facilities were passable, but had definitely seen better days.
The location is on the edge of the town so not very central.
I wouldn’t return to this hotel, but loved Palm Springs.
I love everything about this hotel. This was my 3rd stay there and I would not stay anywhere else in Palm Springs! The rooms are so comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly and the pool is wonderful to relax by. And a great location for downtown Palm Springs.
This place is an oasis of peace in the best neighbourhood in Palm Springs. Beautiful design, super clean, perfect location, quiet. Mark is simply an angel- always around to answer any questions you may have and so attentive and caring. I can't wait to be back.
The location was beautiful and the pool was so nicely warm. The view of the rocky hillside and palms was one of the best views any hotel that I've stayed at ever had. We will definitely revisit in the future if were looking for a hotel in palm springs.
Nice and Cozy, and the owners were extremely nice! I had a great time here. My 7 year-old son didn’t even want to leave the hotel. I’d stay here if I have a chance to come to Palm Springs.
The Inn at Palm Springs is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever visited. The owners are charming and an absolute treasure of information about Palm Springs.
