As for the city of Murfreesboro,, it's always a pleasure to visit the city I grew up in.
What I do not recommend is staying at Clarion Inn. Simply put, do not waste your time or money staying there. VERY BAD.

Lots of great places to eat and most people there were very friendly, but the traffic is busy most of the hours in a day or night, I would suggest planning your commutes with time allotted for busy traffic. Also, The Chop House has excellent food and customer service.

I love going to Murfreesboro.
I love going to Murfreesboro. My grandson is a student at MTSU and I go there to visit him. I love this city it is a mixture of country and big city. The restaurants are great (and there are lots to choose from). The city is clean. At times the traffic is heavy, but I really don't mind because it's an easy town to get around in. I absolutely love it up there.

Total and complete false photos.
Total and complete false photos. The rooms are trashed broken down and dirty. No pool as promised. No breakfast as promised and a moldy odor hits you in the face. Its unhealthy. Not what was promised on Booking.com. Thank God I had my own pillows and blankets!

We came to Murfreesboro for an appointment with the VA for my husband. It's a long drive from where we live and we were a little worried the hotel wouldn't be as described. But it was perfect.
The check in person was exceptional and I wish I had his name. We were moving my daughter into her new apartment to attend MTSU. The parking was limited so we moved a vehicle to the hotel. I just went in to tell them a vehicle was in the parking lot they didn’t have record of but that we would be back to check in. He assured me it was fine and even let me check in early so that when we returned we could go straight to the room.
I read online that it was newly renovated however the word renovated is left to personal definition. And when we had arrived and viewed just the reception area we were very impressed and liked the new look. The room was done very Tastefully and it was clean the bed and the pillows were fine. We did read some other reviews online which were not necessarily favorable but we found none of what was said to be accurate.
Friendly staff. Complimentary coffee and water in the lobby. The rooms were great. Very comfortable beds. Having the mini fridge and microwave were a plus since I had kiddos with me. Took advantage of the pool. Not huge, but just right. My grandson and friend loved it. Workout area was nice as well. This is a very nice hotel. Would recommend.
Hotel is very nice placed, near lot of shoppings, restaurants and easy to go by Uber or Lyft to any place in Murfreesboro. That is a mini office in the room, and microwave oven, Coffee, Tea, and lots of facilities. Breakfast was amazing as well!
the property was very pretty, the breakfast was amazing probably best I’ve had at a hotel the rooms were basic but cute and comfortable and I brought 2 dogs so they gave us a 1st floor level to access the side doors which was a huge help.
Bed very comfortable, pretty clean in the rooms for a cheap hotel. The doors to the room look kinda bad but that doesn't matter really. The coffee maker was pretty nice. You don't see.coffee makers at hotels hardly at all anymore
Everything was excellent! The staff was extremely kind and professional. The hotel/room was clean and comfortable. The price through Booking.com was a great deal for this hotel and it's location. Definitely would stay again.
The cost of this room surprised me once I saw the room. The room looked better than some other hotels with higher prices. The staff were all friendly. They were available to help and answer questions at any time.
Enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the room, the quietness throughout the hotel. The breakfast was good as well and the staff was great. This hotel is my preferable hotel when I come to Murfreesboro
The hotel was in a very convenient location for attending the high school basketball tournament. Clean room, comfortable bed and nice sized TV. Microwave and mini fridge as well!
Staff was amazing. Great service. Wonderful people. The staff made this hotel an A+++. Justice was so sweet. I was very impressed with every staff member I encountered.
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed was nice. Overall, the hotel is fresh and new and close to good places to eat and get fueled up for the road.
