City is popular for their candies, on the main street of Gränna there is a number of candy shops with huge selection of different sweets and you can see their production process. We found the people friendly, the surroundings clean and pretty. We were able to walk a lot and saw as much as we could. With a car it would have been better, to be able to drive on the island and further around the town. We found a wonderful pizza place up the hill from Grenna Hotell where we stayed. We also came to see where my Great-Great Grandfather came from to America. Also found grave of his brother in the cemetery. The Sauna what belongs to Bauergarden is just 150 Meter down the road with direct access to the lake. It´s an amazing view and relaxing is ensured. Breakfast and also the menue offers during dinner are excellent. There is no english menue card but the friendly staff is always giving you recommendations and will translate. I would like to come again :-)
