Deva was a nice city to visit. The attractions I enjoyed most were Giardini di Zoe (very scenic garden), the city centre, the Corvins' Castle in Hundeoara, Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana, the "Prislop" monastery and last but not least, Germisara, where we discovered the roman thermal baths and saw the "Clocota" waterfall.
The best restaurant I got to eat at in Deva was Bord 13.

Deva, it's a lovely town (about 60,000 people) very important for the locals and you can see the locals in their ordinary life. Not much to see; lovely restaurants, a nice small fortress, and friendly people.

Deva bears special significance worldwide, to members of the Unitarian-Universalist Church, as its castle dungeon was the scene of our founder, Francis David's imprisonment and death. Freedom of religion, an idea first proclaimed in Europe at the Diet of Torda in 1568, is associated with his name. His life's work is revered throughout the world. So it was most disappointing that references to his legacy have been removed in today's Deva Castle. The multilingual guide posts convey a generic non-story, totally lacking substance. A visitor is left puzzled whether this occurred by ignorance or by design.

Deva is a beautiful city.
Deva is a beautiful city. We got to see the Deva Airshow which was the highpeak of our stay. It's really easy to get to the citadel by foot from the center town. We didn't stay for a long time so we didn't get to do much but we recommend to visit the citadel at night and the aerodrome.

I like very much Deva and it's surroundings.
I like very much Deva and it's surroundings. Very much too see and visit: the fortress and Giardini di Zoe in Banpotoc are a must do!
Very clean and pleasant town, nice city center with great terraces like The Refresh! Have a fresh there, it's nice!
I also recommand Hanu lui Mos Opinca for a great meal and view over the fortress and the city.
Location is very close to the city center and the Citadel in Deva. We stayed in the Missy apartment and it was very nice. Plenty of room for a family with two children. One big bed in the bedroom and one extensible coach in the living room, but very good quality. Almost like a second queen bed.
Breakfast was very good and the host was always available and asking if we need anything else and willing to get any extras we wanted.
Overall quite a nice experience and definitely a place we would like to stay at again.
Excellent bijou hotel, with terrace restaurant. We found the waitress Andrea to be extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted ver graciously by the owner and shown to our room with a large 2 metre x 2 metre bed all the room was in excellent condition and the food in the restaurant was also excellent. We can fully recommend this Hotel to all, Thanks Caza Belazur
For us it was very convenient because we were passing by on the car. We booked with that in mind but it ended up being the best decision ever. Rooms very comfortable and the highlight was the receptionist, he is amazing! He knows Spanish and we talked a lot with him, he is definitely the greatest person in all Deva!!
The hotel is well positioned near the exit on the highway towards Bucharest, the rooms are big, comfortable, very clean, with big bathrooms, the personnel is extremely friendly and ready to help, they also offer excellent Chinese and Romanian foods, while the price is rather low for what you can buy for it.
A comfortable apartment, equipped with everything you need, a generous terrace with a lovely view. I especially appreciate the kindness of the owner and the professional way in which the services are offered. If you are visiting Deva and the surrounding area, I recommend this property.
Amazing hotel for value money and quality. Very stylish and spacious rooms, comfy bed, everything what you need is in the room. Breakfast included, freshly made omelet by guest request. Definetly if we travel back to Deva, will choose this hotel to stay.
The apartament is very practical and super comfortable. We stayed only one night and barely got to use the kitchen, but is equipped with everything one might need. When we will come back to Deva I hope it will be available for booking.
The room was spacious, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and it had a bidet. The show was awesome. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to stay in the deva, hunedoara areas. The staff were very friendly and supportive.
Very clean, the bed was very comfortable, excellent position, it is in a quite neighborhood and at the same time very close to center of Deva. The owner of the place was extremely nice and friendly! Impressive garden !!!!
The home is perfectly located on the main pedestrian boulevard in Old Town, yrt set back from the road in a quiet courtyard. It's spacious, decorated beautifully, with a comfortable bed.
The room was excellent and the landlady a pleasure to talk to.
Very clean, comfortable and with a great view to the citadel.
Will return here if I ever need a place to stay in Deva.
I think this is the best accommodation option in Deva. It's in the town center, and has a beautiful view on the Castle. There are 24/7 supermarkets close to the apartment.
Sarmis is a great hotel in the center of the city, it has private parking and it is very comfortable all together. It's probably one of the best locations to stay in Deva.
Everything was perfect for us and the host was very accommodating with our needs. Check in is comfortably via code and the flat has a superb view over Deva.
