Sanctuaria Treehouses Busuanga, hotel in Busuanga

Set in Busuanga, 45 km from Maquinit Hot Spring, Sanctuaria Treehouses Busuanga offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar.

We cannot recommend the treehouse enough, we stayed in the kingsuite treehouse and there was ample space for 3 people. The views over the sea were stunning. On our arrival, we were greeted with iced tea, which was much needed in the Philippines heat! The staff were extremely attentive and cooked every night, changing the menu up daily - we can't fault the food, it was amazing. The girls always went out of their way to make sure we were looked after, we wanted a tour that wasn’t advertised on any of the leaflets and they organised this with a few hours notice for the next day. It is a very rustic experience so you need to expect some bugs and ghekos at night but it didn't bother us and we came away unscathed with bites!

San Nicolas Private Beach, hotel in Busuanga

Located in Busuanga, San Nicolas Private Beach features a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi. The accommodation provides free shuttle service and room service for guests.

Total of 4 nights stay at San Nicolas Private Beach, 2 way airport transfer is included which is good as the place is secluded. 20-minute boat ride with Abraham and his team. Abraham explains nearby islands like fishermans villages. Check-in and checkout were smooth, golfcart was driven by Javier (owner) to assist with our heavy luggage from the port to the lobby. Overall, the 4 nights experience was exceptional. It was a wonderful experience each day. ALL meals are included in buffet style (except the breakfast, order from menu each morning). Activities in the resort, they have the black island tour, which us half a day from 8am to 12nn. Bring your beach shoes as you will visit the nice caves (stones and sandy). They have the paddle boards and kayaks. Near the resort is awesome coral reefs! Rich reef! Since you might end up doing it for hours, make sure your skin is protected from scorching sun. Ask Javier and Abraham the best spots to snokel!. They have a massage, too! But make sure to book in advance (1 day) as the masseu can be busy off the island. Food wise, every lunch and dinner is top-notch! Abraham had good wines too, so go on and enjoy your holiday a bottle or 2. Staff wise, they are all nice and friendly. Don't hesitate to ask if you have an enquiry and they will find the answers in the best way possible. Resort' s manager Abraham is very knowledgeable of the island and tours we've been to! His not even local, but i tell you he knows better than locals. He shows dedication and expertise in his work. Resort's food and interior are well planned by the owner Sandra and her husband Javier. They have worked hard to bring the best out of the place to give the best for their guests. This resort was in years of work and kudos to the entire team. Continue your efforts and more happy and grateful customers will come.

I dont know why everyone goes to crowded Coron island while huge wild beautiful Busuanga is near. Its very big island, better to rent a motorbike to discover it. A lot of things to do, islands, giraffes, diving, beaches.

We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by tourism. Where we stayed at Ocam Ocam there was a rural village community living along the beach. They were friendly and helpful and there was one restobar on the beach. The beach wasn't busy - had a very relaxed feel. It would have been a drive to the nearest town but we liked being away from it all. The beach at Ocam Ocam was gorgeous, though not for swimming as it had a long shallow reef out to the sea. We didn't see a lot of Busuanga as a whole but it felt equally relaxed and rural away from big towns.

The resort location is beautiful and the landscape simply stunning! Its a great spot for relaxing during the day, the kayaks and paddle boarding were a nice afternoon activity, although it was a shame the jet ski was out of action the whole 5 days we were there! I would recommend the day trip to the private island - ideal. Disliked · We went over CNY and were hoping to have some more variety with options for food - the resort is located 45 mins from Coron town and was an expensive excursion (we paid $60USD in taxi's to go out for breakfast one day because the one menu at the hotel had exhausted our appetite) I would suggest more evening entertainment too - to add to the atmosphere, a playlist or a live band that lasts longer than 10 minutes, something classy and relaxing. The food was a real disappointment, I felt like I was eating a children's menu all weekend not paying children's prices. The rooms were lovely and big, although a little sparse on luxury based on the rating and cost. The pool and water activities are great though, although it was a shame the jet ski was out of action all weekend!
