Very helpful and professional staff, good location, the restaurant (breakfast + dinner) serves very good food. The location is easy to find. The gym is just OK, but by no meanings bad. We wold like to come back.
Located in Ras Al Jinz, the nesting site for green turtles, Ras Al jinz Turtle Reserve offers air-conditioned rooms and cottages with a flat-screen satellite TV. It offers a free private beach area.

The Room was perfect, Food, the Turtle 🐢 was so cute and good experience for my guest who's joined for the Tour trip.
Located in the seaside town of Sur, the Al Faisal Hotel offers fully furnished rooms and suites with free WiFi. It features a 1.2 mi beach promenade, room service and a business center.
Located in Sur, 1.4 miles from Sur Beach, Five Continents Hotel has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Built in 2013, the property is within 27 miles of Al Hadd Fort.
Within 15 minutes’ walk from the Gulf of Oman, this Sur accommodations offers a 24-hour reception desk and air-conditioned rooms and apartments with TV. Private parking is free.
Excellent location. But I would suggest that you allocate a separate place away from the hotel rooms for the scrap items as otherwise it invites snakes and scorpions to the rooms. Also recommend a Table Fan at the food lobby.

It a quiet port town.
It a beautiful little white town.
It a quiet port town.
It a beautiful little white town.
However, compared to the world's famous tourist destinations, it will be a little inferior.
But if you travel in Oman, it would be a good candidate.

Only best place to book is Ra's al jinz resort to see turtles laying eggs. Walk from the resort to the nesting beach is around 1.5 km wear comfortable shoes. Nothing else to do except turtle watch. Avoid the turtle museum on second floor it's not at all maintained and charges 2 RO ( 5 USD) not worth. Book tents they are good and gives you a camping feeling with comfort of a room.

Small town - not a huge amount to do here, we went for a walk along the beach, looked at the lighthouse, and ate at Zaki restaurant (try the butter chicken). We mainly stayed there to break up the journey between the Bimmah Sinkhole (beautiful and definitely worth a visit!), and Wahiba sands. Wouldn't stay here for longer than one night!

Seemed like an underdeveloped and old city.
Seemed like an underdeveloped and old city.
My experience was spoilt due to Covid regulations. We did a PCR Test in Nizwa City (Badr Al Samaa Hospital - they claimed that the reports could be collected from any of their branches in other cities). However collecting the report took us an hours' time, which threw us off our schedule to drive and experience Sur City.

sur is vey beautiful city . it has a very clean beaches and historical places as well. You can visit these places such as Al Sinsilah Fort and Fatah AL Khair Ship. You can enjoy a boat Ride for 15 minutes in Khor Al Batah. from sur you can vsist so many beautiful places such as Ras Al Had and Khor Jarama
The staff was welcoming and responsive on WhatsApp. The staff is also very courteous. The place is close to Wadi Shab and Bimmah sinkhole. There’s steps to go all the way down to the water where you can sit and watch the waves and turtles. The room itself is spacious. The water pressure is very good and the water temperature gets really hot, the way I like it. There is a common area where you can cook, if you feel like cooking food yourself.
Good room size, firm bed, bathroom fully functional but a little dated. Hall carpets a little worn on our floor. We overlooked the main road. There was road noise in the room but it was not that noticeable with the drapes closed. Good breakfast options and variety. Their staff all very nice. They do have an alcohol service/bar, but options are limited and prices high even by the standards of Oman.
Comfortable villa with several sea-view rooms in a beautiful location on a rock overlooking a private beach located 500m from Wadi Shab entrance. Our host was super nice, arranged a local-style dinner and continental breakfast and also spent a day as our guide in Wadi Shab at a very reasonable price (12 OMR). We enjoyed his company tremendously and the wadi visit was one of the best experiences in Oman.
The room was large, clean, and comfortable (bed was very* firm - good for me, but FYI). Strong wifi in common areas. Abdullah, the owner is very nice. There is no sign on the hotel (as of March 2022) - it's exactly where it's pinned on googlemaps, a creamy-yellowish converted home with a clear parking area outside a nice outdoor area. It's 2 or 3 houses off the road toward the sea.
The 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for 4 friends travelling together. It's a very simple apartment, but comfortable for a couple of nights. The Zaki restaurant below the hotel is a great place for dinner (and lovely staff). There's not much around the hotel so you do need a car to get around Sur.
The most convenient location if you want to join the tour for turtle watch, only 400 meters away from the center. Owner is super nice and accommodating, breakfast is very delicious. room is big, overall, this hotel is well worth the money, it's basic, but serve it's purpose.
Extreme hospitality. Though the hotel is only 1 min away from the bus station by foot, they still send people to guide the guests arriving by bus.
They also offer various day tours which are reasonably priced.
Rooms are spacious and clean.
The rooms are simple but large enough and confortable. The staff was nice. Pool was enjoyable. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and found the food tasty. There are not too many options in Sur and I think this hotel is a good base.
The hotel gives a rundown impression, the staff in the hotel seem slightly desintrested.
Though they tour guides and the turtle tour made up for it.... in the end, that's why you go there. But don't expect a luxury hotel/resort.
It was lovely to see the turtles laying their eggs on the beach, or to see tiny turtles hatching (this has not really anything to do with the hotel itself, but rather with the geographical location).
It is a really spacious flat in a central area in Sur, right in front of the beach.
There is car park available in front of the hotel.
