It one of the best place in OMAN it is a mix between modern and heritage. Sohar still under develop stage which is an apportunity to leave the simple old days in some villages. Around you farms and natural habitats natural beaches. Visit the hand crafts market fort and you will feel leaving the actual life not the artifficial and modern industry.. The good thing about sohar is that the industrial areas are kept isolated away from you so you fill comfortable. I real visit it regularly and every time I visit sohar I like it more.. it is fantastic simple and lovely friendly people.AAnonymousOman - 10Scored 10

Sohar is a sleepy city if you live in a busy city, Sohar is a a nice escape for a weekend. Never the less, the city is equipped with all the necessities to have a great time, food, shopping, coffees, the lot. Omani people are very kind & helpful. Smile, they will smile back.
