This was such an unexpected pleasure. On the side of the barn, this studio apartment was superb. Beautifully appointed with extra high ceilings and two toilets. The Aga type oven which was set on low for a cosy feel.

I have never been to Rangiora - although I am a Kiwi and have been to Christchurch many times. Rangiora seemed a vibrant little town with some great little boutique shops - very impressed and very clean. Only wished we had one more day to explore.

Fall in love with the beautiful town and its friendly people we went home and sold up and we now live here.
Great eateries, shops, parks not far to Christchurch or the airport. Markets, gigs, beach, Ashley river and more.

Rangiora has boutique shops, pharmacy, banks, lots of grocery options. Petrol stations for gas, diesel, lpg. Town of 20,000 means all amenities. Pool for family, River for dogs or family.
Sea close by for a swim or sunbathe, sunscreen needed.
Mt Grey or Thomas for walks.
The unit was very clean and tidy. Numerous heaters so we were really warm and toasty. The shower had great pressure and the provided a hair dryer that worked really well, not like usual hotel ones that are very weak. The couches were the highlight, they were so comfy and all reclined. Full kitchen facilities made it really easy, and the beds were really comfy, all with electric blankets fitted. Would 100% stay again and recommend.
We were looking for a rural setting close to Rangiora so this was perfect.
All communication was easy & efficient. (Thanks for the slightly earlier check in.)
Brendon had the fire going for us which made the place very cosy, in a spacious building. Everything was 100%
Fresh eggs were supplied for breakfast along with muffins. Such a character setting.
WE WILL BE BACK :)
An absolutely awesome place - halfway between Rangiora & Kaipoi so perfect
Country feels but close to the towns
Owners are friendly and delightful people
Supplied fresh eggs for breakfast
A converted barn and renovated so beautifully
Wood fire kept the place very cosy plus several heaters
Friendly staff. And, I know it seems a simple request they had decent coffee sachets. previous stays around south Island had crap coffee. Breakfast was excellent in quality and value.
Hotel next door had great meals.
We enjoyed our accommodation, was our second stay here. This Motel is our go to when stopping in Rangiora. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very comfy bed and friendly receptionist.
It's like staying in a 5star hotel, just outside the noise of a city. We were very impressed. We had 1 wonderful night in very comfortable beds. And these adorable dogs...
We loved our room especially the air conditioner as it was the hottest day in Rangiora! I walked down the street to get our tea from a great little Fish n Chip shop.
