Really great hotel, in a very handy location. Quirky but extremely well appointed and comfortable. Didnt get a chance to dine at the restaurant but it looked great also and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The biscuits to accompany a coffee were appreciated.

New Plymouth was just fantastic. It is a stunning place to visit - beautiful coastal walks - fantastic art works right throughout the city and the most exquisite gardens. I totally loved New Plymouth and will certainly return.

We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and so handy to great cafes shops boutique breweries amd galleries which all we tried were found to be exceptional. Plus we loved the direct access to the board walk to the port past an impressive swimming pool complex then later walked along the pathway in the other direction the Fitzroy beach which had a cafe and outdoor setting on the beach. The whole city seemed safe and attractive and a great place to visit and probably a great place to live.

Good sized room and ensuite.
Good sized room and ensuite. All absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Useful facilities.
Nicely positioned off the main road so nice and quiet but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Not too far to coast with beaches and coastal path. Friendly and helpful owner with a good knowledge of area and enthusiasm when recommending things to see and do.

At first wasn’t too sure about New Plymouth but the more we walked around the city the more we liked it. It’s a very tidy city with lots of amazing murals painted on buildings, tidy and clean with every shop you could think off. It is handy to the foreshore and a beautiful walkway and within a few hundred metres from beautiful Pukekura Park on other side of township, a must visit.

What a delightful apartment tucked way in a quiet cul de sac in New Plymouth. The gardens are gorgeous and the hosts Mel and Shane are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are excellent - a wonderful breakfast is provided including juices, cereal, toast, fruit..and for the evening there is a decanter of scotch and some chocolates. The bed is super comfy and the space looking out on a colourfully lit night time garden is perfect. Highly recommended.
Awesome place to stay with a good location. Very calm in a nice neighbourhood and yet close to New Plymouth. Christine and her hubby are very welcoming, from day one they really made us feel like home. She is so friendly, such an excellent host and attentive to all details that make a great BnB. We had everything we needed and more. Thank you so much for having us at your home. We had a wonderful holiday and we’ll definitely look to stay here again in the future.
Location was perfect, easy to find and close to central CBD. Made it super easy for getting around. Room was spacious and comfortable. Spa pool was nice to soak in at the end of the day. They offer really nice bf, all day menu and dinner menu. Even though we didn’t use room service it was nice to know it was available if we needed. Self service Laundry was available to guess and super cheap for $4 for a wash and complete dry.
Excellent location, good off street covered car parking, spacious and comfortable room.
The concept behind the hotel itself, and the connection with fabulous bars, eateries, shopping, the art gallery and the waterfront all within an easy stroll makes staying here a wonderful experience. Our main regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!
I have stayed a few times at the Devon Hotel and never had a bad experience. Rooms are always tidy and clean. Staff are always friendly. Hence why I stay at the Devon when i come to New Plymouth. Might not be right in the city center but close enough. There is always some level of noise but generally at night it is quiet and peaceful.
The boutique hotel is located in the Centre of New Plymouth and is decorated with great taste. the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The room is not huge but the layout is good. Great water pressure from the shower. The restaurant downstairs serves good breakfast.
We liked the Devon Hotel. There was a dirty towel on the back of our bathroom door and a dirty coffee cup in our cabinet. Otherwise the room was very clean and quiet! We thought it was a beautiful hotel. The location was perfect for getting to the beach.
The only good experience at this hotel is the restaurant and the staff that was working the bar, kitchen/waiters. Food was excellent, plating was a little messy but the fresh taste and great service there more than made up for it.
Loved the funky decor, artwork and elegant guest lounge. Great location as the hotel was in the heart of New Plymouth with restaurants in walking distance and near to the Coastal Walkway. Luke was extra friendly and helpful.
These rooms are cheaper than rooms in the main hotel and for that you get a compact but perfectly planned comfortable room , the plaza that the rooms overlook has some amazing food and drink outlets - very convenient
Location is excellent. We could walk to the waterfront, the mall, the supermarket. Off street parking right outside our door. The Spa bath was real luxury. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very warm welcome from Rae & Neil - lovely hosts. We appreciated the home baking & spa pool. Very nice unit & facilities. Quiet, peaceful suburban spot, just minutes drive from the city centre.
Spacious apartment & great location to eateries.
Staff very friendly. We decided to extend stay in New Plymouth and opted for a motel apartment instead instead of a standard room in a hotel.
This is an excellent, quiet location, just of new plymouth motorway. It offers an excellent breakfast and great hosts. These would be the best beds ever slept in in a hotel or bnb.
Great motel. Comfortable. Clean. A sense of luxury. Walking distance to downtown & the waterfront walkway.
We will come back here when next in anew Plymouth.
