Kasbah Mohayut, hotel in Merzouga

Kasbah Mohayut is in a peaceful setting at the foothills of the high dunes of Merzouga. It is the perfect choice to combine relaxation, authenticity and adventure.

The property is quite nice - albeit dusty and a bit worn in - but luxurious for the area. Breakfast was included but lacking protein - mostly Moroccan pastries, with a little lackluster fruit. Dinner was good. The best part was our large room with windows on either side and a bench and table area. The pool was pretty but I did not have a chance to try it out. Loved the camel fountain! Parking is good and protected. I would stay here again.

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent! Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed! Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice. Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

this was for sure one of the best experiences we had in Morocco. All the staff was 5*. - we left the car in a free and safe park - we had a 2 hours camel ride at sunset which was magical ( not included in the price of the room but totally worth it) - The food and the room was very nice - We got to sing and dance to Berber songs and we talked with Mohammed for like 2 hours ( there are a lot of Mohammed’s here) 😁. He was incredible and answered at all of our questions about the Berber culture, Merzouga, the desert , etc

Palmyra Luxury Camp was one of the options suggested to us by a friend of ours who is familiar with this part of Morocco, and opted for it based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and other online travel forums. I must say that we certainly made the right choice: The food was top-notch, the staff were super kind, friendly and courteous, our tent was more luxurious than expected with all the modern comfort and convenient facilities. Riad Les Roches provided us with an unforgettable stay! The hotel features a delightful swimming pool and staff who are both friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and cuisine were superb, and their organization of a 4x4 tour to Merzouga village made exploring the area effortless. Our visit to the nomads and Gnaoua in Khamliya was enriching, and the desert camp experience was unparalleled. A must-visit for travelers in the Merzouga Sahara Desert.

A fantastic experience in the desert that was made easy and seemless by Hassan. He organised everything and it all worked very well. In addition, we had 6 hours to wait for the trip with camels over the sand Dunes after arriving in Merzouga and he arranged for us to be at a pool at his families hotel for the cost of a lunch. This was a good deal - somewhere to go with a nice pool and view. I'd recommend using this company for your desert stay.
