It was a great stay at the Central Gallery Rooms in Trapani.

The hotel is ideally located, just next to the historic center of Trapani and a few minutes from the port. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The receptionist gave us good advice about restaurants and places to visit in and around Trapani. As hotel guests, we were also offered two glasses of wine from the very nice rooftop bar.

Ottima colazione, personale gentile e professionale!
Kite-shaped Trapani makes an impressive sight from lofty Mount Erice, connected to the peninsula below by cable car. On a clear day, the mountain also offers views of Tunisia - one destination of ferries from Trapani Port, alongside Cagliari, Pantelleria and the offshore Egadi Islands.
Overlooking the port is the old town, where arched doorways on narrow streets open onto many cheap apartments and B&Bs on Booking.com. Shabby chic façades sit alongside historic churches, such as understated Trapani Cathedral, somewhat lost amid elegant Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where pavement cafes sit in front of pastel-coloured buildings and metal balconies.
At the tip of the peninsula is the fortress-like Tower of Ligny lighthouse, now housing the Prehistory and Sea Museum. The Colombaia Castle protects the port from an island to the south, while in the other direction the sweeping coastline passes some beachfront hotels with swimming pools.
Villa Margherita Park offers shade from the Mediterranean sun, and Triton’s Fountain graces a neighbouring square. The simple façade of the Basilica of Maria Santissima Annunziata hides the treasures within, including a statue of the Madonna of Trapani which is at the heart of the Easter ‘Misteri’ celebrations.
Between the city and Trapani-Birgi Airport, historic windmills sit beside salt pans. The Salt Museum provides details of this major industry.

Trapani is a great "normal" town- not too touristy.
Trapani is a great "normal" town- not too touristy. There are great restaurants, good shopping, and you can reach a lot of wonderful places such as Erice, San Vito lo Capo, the Egadi Islands, Marsala and loads more. There are beaches, churches, ports...a bit of everything but at a relaxed level.

Perfect town for a short break or for a beach holiday, the town is in between a harbor and the beach. The city centre is vibrant, lots of restaurants and bars. The surrounding areas worth a visit if you are interested in arts, nature or simply laze on the beach.
People are friendly, the food spectacular!

Trapani is lovely town nicely laid out with good public transport - although beware as the busses stop running by about 21:30 in the evening and none on a Sunday. A good selection of shops for those wanting to indulge.
The old town is stunning and a must to visit both during the day and particularly in the evening when it totally comes alive with an abundance of restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.

Surprisingly quaint with lots to do.
Surprisingly quaint with lots to do. Great sandy beaches, lots of shops and amazing restaurants and bars in the old town. Also provides easy access to lots of other places to explore like Erice via cable car, Egadi Islands by ferry and Marsala, Castellemare del Golfo by train and Palermo by bus. It wasn't overly touristy either and got a really nice, more authentic experience here compared to some of the other cities in Sicily. Highly recommend! 3-4 days would be perfect
kitchen area has a microwave and a sink to use if needed. Also comes with coffee for the morning. Wasn't our most comfortable stay but was super cheap. lots of stairs to get to the rooms. Lots of room from upstairs that kept my baby and myself up also late arrivers (around 2AM) made lots of noise and doors opening and closing made a lot of noises. Traffic noise from the balcony but otherwise good value if looking for something super cheap and right in the centre. Also baby crib was super clean and comfortable.
Lory was very welcoming and extremely helpful, as were the other staff. We loved that there was an elevator for the luggage. The rooms were well appointed, beds and pillows very comfortable. Air con worked well. Breakfast was the best we’d had in Sicily. Well located to the harbour for the ferries (5min walk) and the beautiful and vibrant shopping and restaurant areas. Parking was nearby the B&B. The building has been renovated really well. Our stay exceeded our expectations.
Property is in a beautiful renovated old building right in the middle of everything. Step out and find everything in Trapani’s historic center just steps away, and the beach is only a couple of blocks away as well. Aside from its convenience and value, we especially enjoyed meeting the lovely Serena, who was super helpful with tips about where to go — she was a wealth of information and all her recommendations were just perfect.
Easily the most comfortable place we stayed our three week Italy trip. Beds were really comfortable, AC worked great nice balconies and the rooftop terrace was a great place to hang out when other people in our group went to bed early. Bar Jeckyl across the street was also great. Every other place we stayed had at least one thing that wasn't great but Palazzo Mancina was perfect all around. Thanks Alberto we'll be back.
The owner was lovely and really helpful. The space is fantastic and in a great location (close to the port but equally the city centre). Really useful to have a washing machine and free parking right in front of the building. King sized bed and lovely memory foam pillows.
The owner recommended we eat at santa chiara 19 which was just around the corner and it was the best pesto pasta we've had in Italy!
Good location for taking the ferry to Favignana but the bathroom is outside the bedroom and is really hot because of the lack of a window. It’s close to the center and near bars so it’s possible to find a good breakfast immediately. The towels weren’t so new and there were a couple of stains in the bedsheets. We’ve been in three different places in Sicily and unfortunately this wasn’t the best of them.
The view of the water from the dining/living room was even better than the pictures. Open the doors to the balcony and hear the waves. Like a beach resort even though you are in a city. Bed was comfortable and kitchen reasonably well equipped. Nice table to eat and play games. Great location a stones throw from the main sights in old town of Trapani. Several restaurants within 2 blocks.
This was our best stay in all of Sicily. The rooms are beautiful and very well maintained. The host Sandra was very friendly and helpful to give us some advice on where to go. We stayed a total of three nights. Breakfast was great. It came in a buffet but very fresh and with a different extra dish (eggs, pancakes) over the days. Would recommend it!
very nice and kind staff :D response quickly every time
easily to get necessities, such as mineral water and shampoo. The most important thing is the fantastic sea view! more than the pictures. Also, there’s a bar beside the apartments, you can feel the summer vibe with the DJ at that bar when the sun goes down. The best experience in Sicily.
The location is superb in the historic part of Trapani. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the hotel breakfast is very good. The hotel receptionist is extremely helpful with advice on the neighbourhood and where to eat. I had one of the best meals in Sicily. you;ld certainly stay again next time I come to Trapani
Wow, what a beautiful home base for visiting Trapani, the Egadi Islands, Erice, and San Vito Lo Capo. Agostino and staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. The best parts of staying in a family home and a boutique hotel. I only wished we'd spent more time here and enjoyed the pool and cocktails.
One of the best places we’ve been to. The house is beautifully renovated and decorated with modern furniture. Francesco is an amazing host. He makes you feel very welcome, is easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful. No doubt we will go back when visiting Sicily :)
The hotel is in a great location in an old palazzo. The room was large and comfortable. It had a small balcony opening to a walking street. The breakfast was great with helpful, funny waiters. Trapani actually was a much nicer town than I expected.
Alex, our host, is/was very friendly and helped us with a good tips of restaurants, beaches and he transfered us from and to the airport.
The apartment was nice and clean. Everything worked as we wished and enjoyed.
Thank you...
The location was good, 10 min walk to center.
Nice town and good restaurants best so far we had in Sicily. Plenty beech places right next to the historic center. Breakfast was nice, I was asked if I prefer savory or sweet food
Super clean, comfortable, excellent kitchen, and an incredible host make Casa Trapani a great spot to stay while in Western Sicily. We used it as a base for further exploration of the region and we couldn't have been happier!
The place was great, close to the beach and in the center, full of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The host recommended us a lot of places. The room is one of the nicest in Sicily.
Beautiful immaculate property . Generous room and bathroom size . Very good breakfast and convenient to walk into many areas of Trapani. Our favorite of our sicily trip
Alessandro is great. Friendly, gives you all the information about getting around Trapani. The location is nice. Walking distance to the city centre, Erice cable car.
