Bisceglie is a relaxing Italian city.
Bisceglie is a relaxing Italian city. It is wonderful to relax on the beach. Here you can watch the sound of the sea at any time. The small streets are especially recommended in the evening. Bari airport can be reached in half an hour by car. The neighboring cities like Trani and Molfetta are not far away and easy to reach. The city of Alberobello is highly recommended. Unfortunately a little further away but worth seeing. I am already looking forward to visiting the beautiful city of Bisceglie again soon.

It is a quiet market town which doesn’t get many tourists.
It is a quiet market town which doesn’t get many tourists. Eating out is very cheap and the food quality is excellent. We usually stock up at the local market which has excellent fish for sale as well as plenty of local fruit and veg. There is a large harbour. Beside the harbour is a pebbly beach. We usually hire a car from Bari airport to get there. Once you have a car you can travel 20 minutes on the motorway to Barletta which has a lovely sandy beach with lido areas.

It is located at the entrance of the city and it’s around 20-25mins walk from the city center. The sea is exactly in front of the apartment and the nearest beach is only 5mins walk. The parking place was always available. The breakfast was fine and the owner was friendly, she brought us cherries from the Bisceglie region and as well some typical sweets. Good value pricing.

We wanted to do one load of laundry but there was no detergent. He immediately went to the store and brought it to our unit. The breakfast place, Prendi Luna, and its owner Mauro, were a highlight. Be sure to take the time to have lunch there. You will not be disappointed!
