The accomodation is right in front of ferry stop which is convenient when you arrive but its also unconvinient for light sleepers because the traffic starts at 6:30.
Beautiful view though:

Extra comfy beds.
Great location.
Great kitchen organization for guests.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places. Ben Nevis is
at Fort William, with the delicious whiskey distillery at its foot. Definitely visit Loch Shiel (famous filming location) and the viaduct at Glenfinnan (as seen in Harry Potter). You'll be totally spoilt with the stunning scenery on the way to and from Eilean Donan castle on Loch Duich - it's a bit of a drive but so, so worth it.

The view of the loch was good.
The view of the loch was good. It was a stormy day and night, but that was an interesting view too.
It was a small simple room, which is all we need. I could do without the TV. The picture on the website made it super easy to spot as we approached. This was a great location for a stopover between things we did.

The Onich hotel is in a spectacular setting.
The Onich hotel is in a spectacular setting. We have stayed here before, we loved our stay then and we loved it this time too. The room and facilities were all one might expect and the food was top rate. We'll definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Loved the location.
Loved the location. Our room had a balcony and a fantastic view over Loch Linnhe. They have an excellent chef and evening meals were delicious & reasonably priced. They also had a well stocked bar. The owner, manager and staff were all very polite and helpful and it was so good we opted to stay another night.
Not everyone enjoys a buffet breakfast but it was good quality and suited us except for the food not being hot enough. However this was quickly rectified & hopefully won’t be a problem in the future.

Excellent location and room.
Excellent location and room. The owners are evidently investing a lot to update the hotel and when complete will be very good.
The owners are very helpful and friendly but their staff let them down with their lack of professionalism.
The host who checked us in was INCREDIBLY generous and kind! She gave us a full tour of the facilities so we knew exactly where everything we might need would be. She also recommended restaurants and places to buy food nearby. Both hosts were available and happy to answer any and all questions! Our room was extremely clean with our own bathroom. We only stayed for one night, but were happy for the cozy and comfortable spot to stay over. Thank you!
Our room had a stunning view and was quiet, even though it was directly overlooking the ferry. We could watch the ferry coming and going from our window. Beds were very comfortable with good linen. The dinner menu was typical pub food but the stews we ate were tasty. Breakfast was well cooked although choice of cereals etc was limited.
this was a quintessentially Scottish b&b experience. The owner Clair was accommodating and friendly, she helped us get a reservation at an outstanding local seafood restaurant and Angela educated us at the extensive whiskey bar. The view alone is worth a stay, the hospitality made it the most memorable stop on our Scotland tour.
Fantastic hosts, who provided us with a comfortable home setting away from home. Comfortable bed, shower great and good breakfast to start the day. Mairi also guided us to get medical care after I got knee injury and to amazing local cafes, restaurants and sites. Our preferred one was Lochleven Seafood Cafe! Superb!
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and there was food and drink in the 'fridge which I didn't expect. We took a ride on the ferry (free for foot passengers) to the other side of the loch although there wasn't really anything over there. We enjoyed it though and we saw a seal!
Beautiful location, for exploring the mountains, with a small private beach. We just need to revisit in the summer to take full advantage of the beach. The Onich Hotel was only 2 minutes walk away, gorgeous food and very friendly staff who accommodated our party of 6 with 2 dogs no problem
We had an amazing stay at the Lodge on the Loch Onich. Very authentic place and kind people. Children/toddler friendly, and delicious food at the restaurant (in fact one of the best we tried in the UK). The view on the loch is incredible. We'll be back for sure !
Me and my dad stayed here for our trip to Scotland. It was AMAZING. Room was awesome, location was awesome, ferry ride to get there was awesome, surrounding area was amazing, the staff was exceptional! Food was great at well. Would recommend to everyone.
We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view overlooking the lake. It is in a perfect location to explore the surroundings. The staff is really friendly and the food was amazing! Would love to stay here again
Gary served one of the best breakfasts we had the entire trip. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous. I forget the name of the place but he steered us to a restaurant on the other side of the lake where we had an incredible seafood meal.
Location and the loch view from the room. This is one hotel which is really loch-view where you can literally walk up to the shore. Friendliness of the staff members is worth mentioning. The breakfast spread was really good.
The location is great, it was a stopover for one night on the way to Skye. It appeared to be good value for money. Very comfy bed and hot shower. Went to Kinlochleven for dinner in the seafood restaurant which was excellent
Perfect location for visiting Glencoe - close to the village of Ballachulish, close to Fort William. Loved the horses grazing outside our window. Comfortable and cozy, responsive host.
This is the cutest cottage ever, with a magical view! The shower is a bit small but with good pressure. There are restaurants nearby which was convenient. We definitely recommend it.
