Easy to park, fabulous grounds with a welcoming entrance. Although extensively refurbished there are still features of the old Quorn Grange I remember for working there 30 years ago. The bedroom was large and contained a massive comfortable bed(slept so well). There was a bath too and the nice touch of guest toiletries on the side. Tea coffee and hot chocolate on the side ready to be made. Had the weather been better I’d have enjoyed the double doors which do open on to the car park but still very leafy. The breakfast was basic but nothing was missed. The offer of a freshly cooked breakfast was given but I opted for the buffet continental instead. The restaurant itself formed of the original bar area and part of the original restaurant was light and airy and well laid out. It was a pleasure to stay and I will be visiting again.

The apartment was awful, dirty, the shower didn’t work, brown across the ceiling, food up the walls and the toilet must have been leaking as urine and water was coming through the toilet when you stood on the floor boards.

Typical student town, with many young people in evidence.
Typical student town, with many young people in evidence. Safe, friendly feel to the town, even in the evening at the weekend. Lots of variety in the restaurants and cafés, good shopping with some very good independent shops, as well as the usual chains.

To be honest I wouldn't go to Loughborough on holiday but its a nice town. If you like a drink check out Moonface brewery. The market in the town is on twice a week and is nice.

Totally recommend the Great Central Railway.
Totally recommend the Great Central Railway. Loughborough seems an interesting town with some nice architectural detail on some of the older terraced housing and a choice of two Wetherspoons for the evening
Our room was really very beautiful and they offer a nice breakfast in the morning. The hotel rooms are above an Italian restaurant which we did not try but it looked very good. Luckily we could leave our luggage with the hotel after the check out, so we did not have to carry it around with us while walking around in town.
The staff were exceptional. I’d had a busy day at work and booked last minute. Room facilities were basic but cheap. The meal was amazing as were the team. The lady who cooked the amazing meal, came to check if it was ok. Too much food, they put in the fridge for me to take home. So lovely
The hotel is in great location being in centre Loughborough
The refurbished rooms are excellent value for money and my first choice over travelodge and premier and usually cheaper if booked in advance
Staff are warm friendly and helpful so would highly recommend
The location was perfect for our driving day and it was easy to find, good parking and a 15 minute walk into the town centre. The hotel was nice, the staff were lovely and we sat and had cocktails in the steam garden with the locals which was really good.
The house was on a nice quiet road, close by to Loughbough town centre and the University. Never seen a house so warming and clean. The owner was so lovely and helpful, I would definitely recommend for anyone who is visiting loughborough.
We were made very welcome. The room and facilities were excellent. The location was really good with parking on site, 5 mins walk to Grand Central Railway attraction and 10 mins walk to town centre and restaurants. Breakfast very nice
The location and grounds were amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful. The real draw and why I would absolutely come again is because of the staff. Attentive, kind, friendly and all-around wonderful.
Clean, very interesting interior with lots of paintings, antiques etc... But well kept and not overwhelming. Familiar atmosphere - feeling like home, not a hotel or b&b
Used the hotel as we attended a graduation at the university so location was perfect. It’s located with the campus, we had a car do we could go into town for dinner
The property is very conveniently located near all the shops and a short drive to the university. The host,Thomas,is very accommodating. Never had any issues.
The room was very clean and spacious. Staff were extremely polite and friendly. Lovely food at breakfast and dinner.
I would highly recommend the hotel.
