We stayed in Lascelles and this room didn't disappoint! The jacuzzi in the front bay window with the incredible view of the gardens is just perfect. The 4 poster bed is huge and i recommend you keep the curtains open so you wake up to the sun rise over the hills

We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas...
We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas market and I would certainly recommend anyone to visit. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of privately owned shops which is a bonus these days. A walk along the river is a must with a cafe to pop in for a hot chocolate when it’s chilly!

Everything about this hotel is perfect. From the warm friendly greeting you get on arrival from Karen, the comfy beds to sleep in, the pillows on the bed that your head just sinks into. the little complimentary bottle in the bathroom. Fresh milk for tea and coffee. Biscuits and chocolates on your tea tray. All the rooms are bright and airy. The breakfast is cooked to whatever you order no matter how big or small. there is nothing i would change about this hotel at all
The staff at the Mitre Inn were exceptional. We arrived very late due to the breakdown of my motorcycle but the Manager had stayed late to welcome us and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The next morning, at breakfast we were offered a takeaway lunch for our onward travel and the whole staff team, were supportive, kind and keen to help. I would say that the staff at the Mitre Inn provided the best customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel - 5 stars!!
Well what can we say. This by far the nicest cottage we have stayed in. The location, cleanliness and fittings were fantastic. Whether you are looking for a base to explore Knaresborough as we were or as a base to explore the wider area I would highly recommend Dove Cottage. It is also dog friendly which our Pug cross Jack was very happy about. This is a credit to the owners. Thank you for a lovely break.
The room layout was nicely set out making use of space, along with being fairly modern. Good facilities and easy access from the town centre. Had a shared kitchen downstairs which was a nice addition. Blackout blinds on the bedroom windows. Comfortable bed.
