Friendly efficient staff at this well run hotel. Spacious, comfortable room was very good. Good car park. Restaurant/ lounge food was excellent, including breakfast.
This charming, 19th-century converted farmhouse is just a mile from junction 31 of the M1. It features real log fires, traditional British meals, and bright, elegant rooms.

It is a lovely comfortable hotel. All the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. The evening meals wasn't my taste. I like more plainer food but my husband loved every bit of his meal.
The pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms are complimentary to hotel guests but the pool and jacuzzi was a bit too cold for me. The car park is a little walk away but you can always drop off and pick up at the hotel entrance which my husband did with me and our bags. Would I visit again, definitely, yes I would.

Top qaulity Hotel, excellent Restaurant with an outstanding menu.
The Staff throughtout the Hotel were very friendly and most hewlpful.
The hotel is sistuated in an ideal area as a base for local attactions and places to visit. We would advise at least two nights to take advantage of the surrounding area.
One point of caution our Satnav took us to the Goods Entrance of the hotel, just follow instructions from Hotel, not as we did by the SatNav.

We didn’t even stay. As soon as we walked in we walked out. Handed the key back in immediately. It’s a dump. Aweful. I’m extremely ill with life threatening illness and was so upset. I’m really hoping for a full refund. But I cannot do this immediately as I’m bed ridden and suffer mental illnesses. I’d love some help with getting my money back on something I didn’t use?

I would avoid this hotel.
I would avoid this hotel. The management (I had contact with three of them) have no idea of good customer service so if anything goes wrong which it did both with my meal and room (see picture of windows) if you complain you will end up feeling as though you are in the wrong. They also spend a lot of time justifying and explaining their poor customer service and attitude rather than trying to put it right with courtesy and good grace.

The Hotel is very well situated with lots of places to eat a short drive away. There is a restaurant on site but we did not try it. It was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly. Our room was very generously sized with two double beds, a wardrobe, TV, Tea, coffee and biscuits also provided along with soaps etc. There is a spa which was fully booked when we stayed so cannot comment on that and a pool, steam room, sauna a spa that we were able to use as guests. It was quite busy both morning and evening so please be aware its clearly used by the locals. Our only complaint would be the beds were hard and so were the pillows other than that it was a great place to stay.

Chose Hellaby as I wanted somewhere near Sheffield to visit my daughters, who are at uni there. This was a perfect distance and a nice treat for us all to spend time together. The room was a good size for 3 adults, and the bathroom looked newly refurbished. Plenty of towels/tea/coffee and unexpected treats on arrival. Swimming towels were provided at the spa so didn't need to take the room towels. The grounds were well maintained and I imagine would be lovely to sit out in (when it wasn't snowing 😀)
Very close to a supermarket with fuel and several restaurants. Can't comment on the evening meal as we went out, but the breakfast was very good. Will definitely come again.
The location was really nice very quiet. We stayed in the hellaby bedroom and the room was lovely and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. The spa facilities looked great although didn’t use the pool or steam room - as I’d had a facial done so couldn’t use it afterwards.
We needed a stop between London and Scotland and we found this road hotel. Excellent value for money. Staff was nice and friendy. Reception is open 24/7 and you can have a drink if you arrive there before midnight.
facilities are very basic but everything was very clean.
Everything was perfect! I would definitely recommend Hellaby Hall & will definitely be going back. We enjoyed all the facilities, we had a facial, it was amazing, used the pool and the Jacuzzi. The breakfast was lovely.
This hotel was convenient and the fact that it was on an industrial estate didn't make a difference. Plenty of parking with 24 hr reception. Food available. The room was basic but warm and clean.
good location , lovely setting and great staff , very friendly , helpful and professional . spa facilities lovely and good opening hours . a very relaxing and pleasant stay .
I enjoyed the peaceful quite of the property, especially the spa services. I enjoyed breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. Opening hours were acceptable and bar was 24 hours.
Check in was good, very quick with lots of information. Parking was very good and very accessible for all Hotel facilities. Breakfast was also very good.
