We were greeted by the manager who prompty asked if we have had a good journey and would we like a glass of prosecco and chill for spell whilst giving directions for our room and where to find the private car park.
The Evening meal was superb and we were entertained by a "Magic Circle" Magician... SKY, he did some superb close up slight of hand alone with contemporary magical effects using his phone.

Location is great in a suburb place with great outdoor space good for walks. Not far from public transportation. Staff were welcoming and friendly. They were apologetic of the short comings. The place was clean.

I was there for a family wedding and hadn't been to Epping before. People were friendly and place had a nice character to it. I saw courtesy from motorists to other motorists/pedestrians that was refreshing in this day & age and is a credit to the people of Epping. Thumbs up for Epping from me.

Really nice town, lots of independent shops and restaurants as well as more familiar high street names. The main road is always busy, which was a bit of minus, but to be expected so close to London. The forest and country walks are all around even though it’s only a few miles from the M25 and M11, it still felt as if you were very rural.
I loved everything about this place. my favourite hotel I’ve stoped in. the food was fantastic, the staff were incredibly and went above and beyond to ensure your stay was perfect, the rooms were so glamorous and clean this was an absolutely perfect stay here and can’t wait to go back. worth every penny
This is our second stay here and had booked and on arrival we was given a free upgrade to a larger room with a garden view of Epping Forest bed was very comfortable staff very friendly and helpful and great sleep nice feel about the place great value for money would definitely stay again
Loved this place, wish I could have stayed longer. No room at the airport hotels and this was my closest option. Lovely. I arrived late and left very early, but I was very comfortable and felt safe and welcomed.
Des is a lovely host and so helpful. The house is lovely and spacious, our bedroom was huge with a lovely big bath and views across the pasture. Its a great location for Epping and The Barns (weddings).
The location was most interesting, Forest lodge used to be a livery yard and I worked there. It was close enough to Epping so I was easily able to get to the underground station for a trip to London.
Excellent comfortable room (good shower - always a plus), perfectly decent continental breakfast, handy location for Epping, and the proprietor was really friendly and helpful. Recommended.
Everything location right next to Epping forest.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean.
And the Indian restaurant there was sublime. Which was deliverd on a plate to my room.
Lovely guest house, very comfortable room, about 45 mins walk into Epping with good connectivity to surrounds. Would recommend. Lovely continental breakfast options.
