A great location right on the canal. Ideal if cycling the canal route and very accommodating about storing bikes overnight. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food for both dinner and breakfast was very good. The weather was fine so it was great to enjoy a cold drink sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the marina.
Easy check-in. Clean room. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast. I will think twice about taking my family here though...especially at weekends. there was a party playing very loud music until 4am. Quite disrespectful. Don't mind it going on until 1am but, most of the night?

Low level room as we had our 8 year old Yorkie with us.
Low level room as we had our 8 year old Yorkie with us. The room was spotless and the bed was great, we had an excellent couple of nights sleep. Anything we asked for we received and nothing was too much to ask. Room service was excellent and the wife being a Tea Lover required some extra milk which they did. Lovely food and awesome staff

No USB ports in the room, 2 plugs located under the TV which isn’t ideal when you pay to stay in a room you don’t want to sit on the chair attached to the charger.

We stayed in Chryston to be handy for visiting an elderly relative in Kirkintilloch- the hotel would also be very handy for Glasgow and other towns in the area as just off one of the main roads.
We did not see anything of Chryston or the immediate surroundings.

Getting kept up till 3.45 am in the morning was a disgrace and too be told nothing can be done when I complained at 7.45 am .
If hotel happy enough if a guest never got sleep till 3.45am in the morning with guests smoking laughing and shouting outside rooms outside..
Told I should have phoned at time and when I said I never realised phone was in room as cushion was on it and told well nothing we can do now.
It was 7.45 am I went to reception too complain.
Our day meeting family after 18 months was ruined as myself and wife were too tired to spend whole day with them..

The Hotel was Clean, Modern, well decorated.
The Hotel was Clean, Modern, well decorated. Friendly, helpful staff. Dinner was excellent and breakfast lovely. Chryston itself doesnt have places of interest but does have this marvellous hotel.
I haven't been as impressed with a hotel, as I was during my stay here. From first arrival the exterior looks idyllic, the staff were awesome, particularly the guy on check-in / front of house, room was amazing, food was excellent. I'll be recommending the hotel to anyone I know looking to stay in the area, and will book again next time I'm in the area, even if it's not the closest hotel to where I'm going.
Staff were really helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean and toiletries were provided. Tea / coffee and biscuits were also provided. The breakfast was really nice and there were more options than at most UK hotels. Good value for money overall if you want to stay somewhere for a night and you do not need it to be in the city centre.
This is a lovely property with fantastic decor.
we stay after a 7 hour journey from Birmingham. The parking on site and near ease from the motorway was definitely a plus point.
the staff were super friendly and helpful.
fantastic dinner and breakfast.
would highly recommend staying.
only 15 min drive from Glasgow city
Did not have breakfast as wee left hotel bar closed at 11pm we were told they didn't have the staff but we could take a drink to our room we did not use the room our night was spoiled i complained but they didn't return my calls on 4 occasions and are not returning my payment
I was there midweek so it was a nice quiet location with no events. Breakfast was basic but tasted good. Near bus stop and train station. We stayed out here because it was an affordable option and liked the setting away from the downtown area.
Everything at the hotel was perfect for my one night stay but the icing on the cake was the friendliness of all the staff and their willingness to go the extra mile with help and a smile.
Best Western should be proud of them.
Good for weekend break close to town Glasgow fort parkhead forge and Cumbernauld shopping centre and retail park. Enjoyed our stay been there couple times hope to go bk soon. Staff very friendly . Food is banging aswell.
Lovely hotel, nice and quiet location. Good shower, but water does go out onto the floor that's the only thing I'd change. 11am check out time too which was nice seeing as we are on holiday from early mornings and work 😀
Staff were friendly and efficient . Hotel was very clean . My room was comfortable and warm and I slept well .
Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked with a good choice . Dinner was also well prepared and presented .
The hotel was lovely staff were so friendly and chatted away with you having a laugh food great deffo go back the staff helped me out as needed clean towels and iron board had it within 5 mins
Everything, I'm sorry that I didn't get the name of the lady who checked me & my brother in & out, absolute professional & a credit to her & the hotel for a great stay.
