The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We are so pleased we chose a sea view. The menu was extensive and the food was prepared to a very high standard. Above all, the staff were so efficient, courteous and welcoming. It all made for a most relaxing and pleasant holiday.

Excellent hotel, staff, food, facilities and views.
Excellent hotel, staff, food, facilities and views. Perhaps the best sea view hotel that we have ever stayed in.
The only one negative was that the room has a shared balcony which may be a concern about lack of privacy and security, although it was not an issue during our stay.

Guernsey has narrow roads, some without footpaths, traffic speed limit is 35mph, when cycling traffic slowed down and overtook when safe. Cycles are available to hire and you can visit the majority of the Island in a couple of days but its not all flat and St Peter Port has several hills. The area around the hotel is quiet, there is a large garden centre nearby and a couple of grocery shops/garage nearby. The bus service around the Island is good and there are three routes into St Peter Port, not far away from the hotel. About a mile walk from the hotel is the Islands largest park, with a museum, cafe and gardens along with a large adventure playground for kids

We had a nice relaxing stay.
We had a nice relaxing stay. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was an average hotel breakfast. Pleasant dining room with plenty of breakfast options. We enjoyed sitting outside in the gardens which has lots of small seating areas and loungers

Everything about my trip was excellent as l was visiting my daughter and her family. She took me out and about, also to different restaurants,in town we ate at the Fat Rascle, very nice food. One night we ate at La Barbarie hotel their food was excellent.
We also went to Pembroke to have a crab sandwich at The Beach House, (l always go there for that)but they did not have any ☹️so we had a prawn one instead 😃 here the golf course is either side of the road so duck down 🏌️🏌️.Le Friquet Hotel restaurant was good,it has Lobsters in a tank that you pick (if you want to)to have for your meal🤔No l didn’t.All in all Guernsey is a great place to go.
The hotel/restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel is old and quirky, our room was large and clean, bathroom however was small and dated. I recommend the food, which was really good and reasonably priced, breakfast was also very good. If we return to Guernsey we would not hesitate in staying here again. I would like to mention that the bin men arrive in the early hours of the morning here, so don't sleep with your windows open like we did!
The staff and owners are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had trouble seeing sights with the bus system (bring Guernsey or Brit currency). I was utterly disappointed. When the owner, David, heard of the issue, he very generously drove us to a museum, picked us up, and then personally showed us some points of interest and got us to our ferry. None of this was expected. He went above and beyond! Hotel is very nice in all ways!
Overall this is an excellent hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly providing a high standard of customer service. The hotel decor was nicely done, the room a generous size with a comfortable bed and good shower. Plenty of room to hang clothes and the location is very peaceful. You can walk to the seafront in 10 minutes which is stunning. Decent size restaurant/bar area with food served all day.
The hotel was well maintained, had very good staff and provided lovely food. The bed was comfortable and bedroom quiet. There was a swimming pool which my wife enjoyed and we were only approx 7 minutes drive from St Peter Port. Plenty of parking spaces were provided by the hotel. There is a bus stop near the hotel which was handy for when we didn't want to drive.
Continental breakfast was buffet style. The hot food was prepared to order, with lots of choice and high quality.
The room was very comfortable, fesh and clean. It was also the quietest hotel I have stayed in - no slamming doors!
The hotel is close to a bus stop, so easy to get aound.
There is a pool too but due to the weather we didn't try it.
Breakfast was very good. Breakfast service excellent. We had dinner in the hotel twice (of four nights stayed). Both meals were superb and there was a very good choice of wine. The service generally was very good. All the staff were very helpful, committed and efficient. We would have spent time by the pool if it had been a little warmer.
Spacious and comfortable room, modern bathroom, very friendly staff. Good restaurant using local produce as well (try the seafood!) Need to drive to get to the main town, but Guernsey is small so it doesn’t take long, and the positive trade off is that there’s parking on the premises and the hotel is in a quieter location. Overall a great stay
Location very good, can easily reach with bus. Room comfortable, quiet. Separate door from autsayd. I love english breakfast- was rich. Always something interesting
in evening- quiz evening, dancing....
Staff always helpful. I be happy staying in hotel again.
A warm and friendly hotel , where you get proper service by keen and friendly staff (so hard to find these days)
Exquisite food prepared by a proper chef , not some jumped up cook.
Comfortable room and surroundings with out being stuffy .
Donna on reception was fantastic. We booked this hotel very last minute in an emergency. We travelled to Guernsey for family medical reasons & Donna was amazing at trying to assist us & make our visit less stressful where possible.
Excellent sea view location, excellent friendly and efficient staff, very good food. Great sandy and clean beach directly outside hotel.. Good walks along the sea front with adequate access to public toilets.
Cobo Bay is a superb location of natural beauty with a very nice beach. The hotel restaurant food is rather exceptional and the restaurant staff is top notch, many with cruise ship experience.
The hotel has a run down feel to it.Staff / owners were pleasant and helpful ,if somewhat extreme in their views. You kind of feel that they would be happier doing something else.
I have been to four star hotels that weren't as good. The only reason I think it is only 3 star is that there is no fridge in the rooms and they are not air conditioning.
