A hotel catering to coach parties in a beautiful location. Room was lovely and quiet but very tatty ,I didn't have a problem with that as it seemed the hotel is being refurbished and I was in a room they had not yet done up.

Hotel setting is very picturesque. Staff was great and very friendly. Massive credit to the chap on reception / booking in, super friendly and top advise on the area. Also spent his own time after work doing a quick go on bagpipes which really made it for us. Really deserves a mention and credit to the hotel.

Arrochar is small but pretty, and it's location is superb in two ways - 1) beautiful location at the head of Long Long and the hills behind, including the wonderful "Cobbler" (Ben Arthur); 2) Great stopping off point for longer journeys north - it's only 3 minutes drive (1.6 miles from the A 82 main road to the north.

Great choice of breakfast with full Scottish to Vegan options. Restaurant had a great choice of meals from snacks, lunch and full dinner menus. Room was clean and spacious and had everything you would need for your stay. Overall a happy run establishment with bar, restaurant and beer garden oh and a sheltered area outside for you smokers. Fascadail house is a beautiful period house with lovely gardens overlooking Loch Long. We were very pleasantly surprised by our room which was actually 2 rooms - a bedroom and a sitting room and bathroom area. Both rooms were absolutely lovely and beautifully appointed. Our host Barbara was very helpful in giving advice on things to do in the local area. We were very impressed with Arrochar and can thoroughly recommend it as a holiday location - and Fascadail House is the place to stay. We totally loved it.

Everything !! Great location and even though on the A83 it was very quite. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The cottage is very nice with everything you need for a home from home stay. Very clean inside with comfy furniture and a very comfy bed. The views from the lounge and bedroom windows was breath taking and even better when viewing from outside ! Simply stunning views of the Arrochar alps and loch Long. Thank you for a lovely if not rather damp stay.

The hotel is situated perfectly on the banks of Loch Long with spectacular view of the loch and the hillside beyond. The room was spacious, immaculate and well appointed. The Loch view description did not disappoint, even in the poor weather I arrived in. The local village contains a small number of options for food, but Ben Arthurs Bothy next door served a great meal and pint at a good price.

Everything. What a fantastic home in a beautiful area. Have been holidaying in Loch lomond for 20+ years, and this is by far the nest location i have stayed in. Village inn down the road for bevy and a scran and plenty more bars/hotels and restaurants a 5/10min walk away. Fishing on the pier (caught 3 Mackeral no big deal guys). Genuinely canny wait to come back.

A little gem, nestled on the northern banks of Loch Lomond. The chalet was beautifully presented with quirky touches with a Scottish flavour. Views of hills and Loch. Hotel with delicious food on site. Water-sport activities available in season. Five minutes to train station to access even more variety. Superb location to just relax or venture further afield.

Glebe Country House is a very nice example of a classic B&B. Bernadette, the host, gave a very friendly welcome. She has lavished every corner with very nice details, and the finishes and furnishings are excellent. The setting is lovely and quiet, with a view from the front bedrooms of Loch Lomond. Breakfast was terrific.
