In respect of location, the views, the bars and the art galleries this place undersells itself.
We liked it a lot but it needs a bit of attention to deserve the 'luxury' appellation
The food at the hotel restaurant was lovely. The chef sources ingredients locally and they have their own garden. It was very up scale for being so far off beaten path. The staff were very friendly and accommodating getting us in for dinner even with our late arrival. The highland cows grazing and view were spectacular. The beds were comfortable and it was so quiet. Just beware that the roads in the area are narrow and winding and at times "single track with passing places" and speed limits are 60mi/hr.

Tiny little village, not alot going on unless your part of the yatching community. There is a small shop which closes quite early on the weekends & a local pub.
Great views of Loch Craignish as the village is on it's banks. Bit if your looking for a little more bustle then head off to one of the slighly larger villages. Plenty of walks and countryside.
The Hotel was excellent. The staff were all very cheerful. The view was amazing. The food was great. We enjoyed the folk night on Friday. Our dog enjoyed the stay. The walk down to the beach was good. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. Also the room was not too hot. There was a great verandah to sit on. It was ideal for a family holiday. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. It was very quiet. There was a library to sit in and a shop to buy maps and guide books

Most friendly staff we’ve ever experienced after staying at well over 50 hotels in Scotland. Special shout out has to go to Emma who looked after us so well during our stay. We stayed in room 24, overall rooms were clean & views unbeatable. Hotel kindly accommodated us with use of the library for an all day meeting we had, nothing was ever a problem. Food was excellent at hotel restaurant, we went back 3 days in a row, nothing compared locally! We’ll definitely be back.
The hotel was in a quiet scenic location with a beautiful view from the restaurant. Staff were pleasant and responsive. The facilities were modern, very well presented and generally clean. There was sufficient car parking. Our room had a spacious ensuite shower room with plenty of hot water. The hotel restaurant served very good quality food at a fair price. Breakfasts were also good with a range of options, well cooked.
The scenery is incredible. The gardens attached free after 5pm to enter are wonderful. The food is superb. The staff are very professional, friendly and attentive. For us another bonus was that the hotel allows dogs. This is well managed with separate dining areas. Beautiful library. I will definitely visit again.
The third time we have stayed here.
The location and views are awesome.
Lovely welcoming bar and hotel.
The staff are absolutely fantastic.
Many thanks to Cara, Abbie and Olivia for looking after us and making it a fantastic stay.
Great customer service, great food, excellent hospitality and help.
The dinner we had at this hotel was amazing! One of the best we had in all of Scotland. Had a lovely furled of flowers on the way to the Loch and a field with hairy coo that came right to the fence. Hotel itself was fine - but worth the stay for the dinner alone.
Beautiful setting. Stunning outlook. Superbly dog welcoming. Very comfortable bed and loved the decking just outside the French doors. Food was first class as were accompanying wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday treat weekend to the Loch Melfort Hotel.
The hotel is in the most beautiful location, the views over the loch are stunning. The hotel itself is clean and our room had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant is of the highest quality.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, views from the hotel are some of the best I’ve seen, the room was spotless, large and very comfortable, food was delicious, staff where friendly and efficient, will deffinately be returning
Food was excellent! we arrived late for dinner due to cancelled flight but the hotel kindly arranged to keep food for us.
Beautiful views from the room and the restaurant
