A very pleasant and interesting little town.
A very pleasant and interesting little town. The church is worth a visit. The bar at the hotel is a meeting place for locals, who also eat at the hotel restaurant, indicating the good quality of the food. Sauxillanges is a convenient centre for exploring the area. Nearby is Issoire which has interesting buildings and a great market.

The bar is used by many locals. The hotel is basic, but very good value. It felt like the floors were not level, but gave the room a very traditional feeling. The rooms are also basic, but again good value. We had a twin room. The breakfast was again basic, very different, but for the price good value.MarkGermany
