Super friendly and helpful staff at the reception. They provide support and guidance. Explained clearly the services available. It was a clean hotel and offered a decent room, the breakfast was good.

Cartagena is a beautiful city with stunning architecture, a lovely waterfront, charming squares surrounded by restaurants, and wonderful Roman ruins to see. We would definitely return for a longer stay, as we were only there one night.

Cartagena is a beautiful, small city- not crowded like the other cities we visited. Beautiful architecture along with Roman ruins, especially the amphitheater. Didn’t get to fully explore it, because I was sick one day. Worth a repeat visit.

If you are interested in history there is lots to see in this area, The Roman Ampitheatre, The Underwater Archaeology museum, Drive out from Cartegena on the minor roads in to the hills to discover lots of industrial archaeology. Take a boat trip round the harbour. Discover Aledo a hilltop town. Eating out can be cheap if you eat the menu de dia or a feast if you order off the main menus.

I spent 16 nights in Cartagena because I ran out of money during my backpacking trip in Europe and this was one of the cheapest places to stay in Spain.
Cartagena is a naval port town dotted with ancient ruins, medieval batteries, and beautiful mediterranean foliage. You can spend your time relaxing at la playa, hiking in the national park, having beers at hole-in-the-wall bars, and people-watching with your tostada de tomate in the late morning. The people are friendly and the street cats are adorable. It’s very walkable but there is an extensive bus service as well. It’s maybe not the most amazing coastal spot in Spain but if you’re broke, Cartagena is a lovely town to spend your time in.
Favourite hike: Mt Roldán
Favourite breakfast/coffee spot: Cafés Céldran
Favourite activities: the tourist boat (only 6€!), the Roman Theatre, and the Municipal Archaeological Museum

Cartagena is a lovely city.
Cartagena is a lovely city. Loads of things to see, museums, Roman ruins and more modern sights like the Civil War air raid shelter near to the castle.
The centre of the city is lovely with lots of places to eat and drink at not very expensive prices. The tapas choice is brilliant and offered by every restaurant. It's easy to walk around the town and you don't need a car. The open top Tourist bus is a good way to see the city, so well worth the hour round trip.
We'd definitely make another visit.

Great little city for a two/three night stay (maximum).
Great little city for a two/three night stay (maximum). Lots of history in the Roman teatro, the castle and the naval museums. Nice traffic free city centre with plenty of choice of restaurants and bars, Friendly and safe.
Everything from start to finish was great, location 10, staff 10. Hotel 10, we were contacted prior to arriving to help with parking in the private facility. When arriving in hotel the helpful concierge pulled our booking forward and when we got to the room it was immaculate. Mini bar was top quality and the view of the Roman ruins from the sky bar was 🤩, recommended to family already and when returning to Cartagena only one place to stay.
Spotlessly clean, comfortable and really friendly staff. Easy to get to off the motorway and lots of free parking on site. Easy walk to the Espacio Mediterraneo shopping centre and bus no 4 takes you into Cartagena every half hour. Bus stop across the street but it is best to ask at reception for location because there is no sign at the stop ! Will definitely return soon to explore more of Cartagena !
The location of this hotel is really good if arriving Cartagena with your car. If you are lucky there might be a spot for your car in the hotel's garage which is actually shared with the adjacent Alfonso hotel. Otherwise you have to use the public garage nearby. Parking is pretty expensive (16 euros per night) as everywhere in Spain. The breakfast was good and the room in a good shape.
We loved the hotel and everything was amazing. We get the best room and had a amazing terace with amazing view. He staff herr are just amazing people that made for us the best day from our holliday. Is by far the most beautiful and clean hotel in Cartagina❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank u from all out herats for all u did for us.
What an incredible apartment right in the center of town. A beautiful full sized kitchen, wonderful family room, great bedrooms, and an unbelievable rooftop terrace. The hosts Trini and Mario are the best hosts ever! Parking was easy and close! We hope to return every year.
The hotel is very tidy, room was spacious and clean. Staff very attentive, I've requested an iron + a board which they've provided within 5 mins :)
There is a 24h cafeteria on the street next to it.
They have an Xbox area (will check it next time)
The room was very clean. The bed comfy, would've have prefered two pillows intead of one long one for two people but that is minor. Location was chill, easy to find parking. We only stayed a night, and in my opinion that was enough for Cartagena.
Cartagena is beautiful. There are magnificent Roman remnants. One can enjoy the view of the city and the sea from a splendid park above the town. The city has special and romantic atmosphere. The hotel was nice.
Great location - 15 mins from Cartagena and local beaches. Lovely house with good size pool.
Dan and Viv are very friendly and helpful hosts. We also met their rescued dogs, what a fantastic team!
There was nothing to like. The hosts maybe were decent people but the whole place is a scam. I stayed all over Spain in the last 2 weeks in 4 star hotels with less than what we paid here.
Hotel in good position ideal for walking to all major parts of Cartagena.
Room slightly 'tired' and beds hard.
Staff ready to assist.
Bar and outside sitting area, very pleasant
That was a best hostel we have ever been, we travel a lot and comparing with hotels w have some experience. Everything there was perfect, check in, price, cleanliness, staff.
