A busy tourist beachside town with plenty of choice for restaurants bars etc as well as the usual holidays shops. The main shopping area is pedestrianised so thats great but for me too crowded and busy, a sort of Spanish Benalmadena without the nonsense, clean, no drinks and no nonsense

Calella beach was very clean and stretches for a few miles before it joins the next resort and didn’t get overcrowded. Nice restaurants and bars and the town is much quieter than Lloret which was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend a visit and would definitely go back.
It is easy to walk around the narrow streets and along the promenade to the next resorts along the coast. We didn’t hire the free bikes as we preferred to walk but the offer of free bike hire is definitely a bonus offered by the hotel.

Calella is 1.5h from Barcelona city.
Calella is 1.5h from Barcelona city. If you're prepared to travel that far outside the city, then stay here. There are not a lot of activities to do in the area, this place is best for lounging about on the beach or by the pool.
Saw so many bad reviews on this hotel and struggling to see why. This hotel was fantastic. Loads of entertainment for kids. Pool, water slides, fun pool, snooker, air hockey, day and night entertainment. Hotel was exceptionally clean. Rooms were cleaned daily. Food in restaurant was lovely. Great selection each day. Something for everyone. Staff were very polite and helpful. Calella is a lovely place with lots to see and do. Well worth a visit.
Looks can be deceiving (the outside and front entrance). The room was very clean, and it smelled clean! No strange smells. No dust balls. No hairs in the bed or anywhere in the bathroom. No stained bed sheets or comforters. Stayed in four different hotels in the area, and now I have to try to change ratings for the others because Haromar exceeded my expectations.
Hotel is great. Short walk from the beach but in nice quiet area. We liked the swimming pool, which is quite empty always. Lunch and dinner are good you can always choose something. Room is very basic but clean and was enough for us. Very nice mrs.Iwona who always has a smile for you! Od we are in Calella someday we would stay in President.
Location, it's practically on the beach. All rooms have partial view of the sea. A lot of food choices that meets everyone's taste and needs. Easily accessible by train or bus. It's my second stay at this hotel and it certainly want be the last one. Hotel facilitates a small pool, gym and a bar.
Great staff, air conditioned room and 360 degree view roof top deck with cabanas. Right across from the beach and town promenade. Quiet trains run twice and hour to and from Barcelona. Barcelona an hour away by train. Also direct bus 500 meters away to the Barcelona airport in 2 hours.
Very friendly staff, our hotel room was clean and tidy. We had access to the hotel roof which is superb and also the spa with sauna. On the beach we had free sits with sunshade. The location is great and we could use the hotel parking. The breakfast had many options.
This hotel to me is exceptionally a 6☆
The hotel reception was so welcoming with fresh flowers everyday. The staff were all friendly nothing too much trouble with a smile. The cleanliness was 100%.
The breakfast everything you could wish for. I will visit again
The staff was extremely friendly and made everything possible to make our stay comfortable. I was there for the IRONMAN Barcelona and the location of the hotel couldn't be any better. On race day, they prepared an excellent breakfast for the athletes.
The hotel was central, 2 minutes to the main street and train station to Barcelona or Blane's. Plenty of shops, bar's and restaurants too. The room was comfortable, shower was lovely. Breakfast and dinner was delicious 😋. I would stay there again.
For the age nice hotel. Do not expect 5 star service however if you familiar with Spain hotels then they really do the best to make you feel comfortable. The kitchen is over the average and the grill corner was one of the best received in Spain
The looks, proximity to town and beach, the restaurant buffets. Hotel lobby is gorgeous. Restaurant is loud but good vibe. Parking is on the street, but free! Room is spacious. And it smells good! Great pool too…

The location was great and the best area in Calella. The flat was nice clean and comfortable very well equipped apartment, We found all we needed inside. The beach is about 2 minute walk. Near are good restaurant and shops.
The Hotel was brilliantly situated opposite the beach with stunning views from the balcony. But by far the best thing was the staff - they couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful - Thank you 😊
Location is right by the beach within a walking distance so as Main Street. Hotel was able to accommodate a room right next to my parents room with free upgrade.
