There's a nice promenade along the beach which you can walk down and have a rest on a bench when you need. There was even a "talking bench" where you could sit if you fancied having a chat with someone. The place is situated in a nice bay of the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, it was a little misty. I only live just over an hour away and it has been misty over the sea over the last few days. That is very unusual.
There are lots of shops, bars including a micro-brewery, cafes and restaurants to choose from. There is a Mexican restaurant I always go to when I am there and I have a vegan burrito, which is very tasty. Lots of choice for meat-eaters too!
There is a bus which runs from Benidorm, through Alfaz del Pi and Albir to Altea, so if you don't want to drive, or don't have a car, you can take the bus. You get a great view.

Beautiful promenade, good restaurants( except Cherenquitas...dont go near it).
Best places to eat are Tampas Bar on Albir promenade, and Nuthis Park Restaurant about 10 minute drive outside Albir
The town itself is really nice, and well kept, and there are plenty of open spaces...so much better to holiday here than tacky Bendidorm

Albir is perfect mix of fairy low key and chilled atmosphere but still plenty to do. Very pretty not too busy. Never problem getting places to eat or drink. Very friendly everywhere. Lots shopping places for self catering as we were. Loved smaller bars off sea front. Great bus and taxi service. Lots trips close by.

The town center was much larger than I thought and had lots of restaurants and shops. The beach front I really liked as it had lots of nice restaurants/places to enjoy a cocktail while looking out over the sea.
On our first trip to Spain, my family was lucky enough to enjoy the gem of an apartment located a short walk to the beach. The apartment is conveniently located to a number of stores, cafes and the bars.
The place was cozy, quite and most importantly clean. It feels like a home away from home. It has a kitchen, comfortable beds and flat screen TV and the spacious terrace, with the beautiful views of the sea and mountains.
Highly recommended for travelers seeking a comfortable and well-located apartment with dedicated parking space.
This apartment hotel is very well managed, with pristine rooms and all conveniences thoughtfully provided. The balconies are large and the mainly nordic clientele made the compound feel quiet and private. The hotel hosts mostly couples and few families. The pool area was very clean. The aircon was good quality and adjustable, which helped a lot. There was a lot of parking space in the neighbourhood, and large supermarkets were within 10-15min walk.
Lovely place , spotless, room with a view.
Location was perfect. Staff were so helpful too.
Fab choice for breakfast.
I was impressed with the way room was cleaned each day with fresh towels , sachets of shower gel and shampoos.
Coffee and paper mugs too.
Mini fridge with bottles of water.
Big bathroom and balcony too.
Even sun chairs and English channels on the tv.
Well done to the staff at Hotel La Rivera keep up the good work.
Very good instructions and assistance during the whole stay. Perfect apartment that has all the kitchen appliances you can need. Extra towels and certain toiletries that will get you started during a long stay, like what a hotel would provide. We did not expect this. How this apartment is advertised is how you will find it. We highly recommend it.
Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet (though the hotel was almost empty, I think with more guests, you would hear some noise). The breakfast buffet was simple, but good enough for three days. Free parking on the street in front of the hotel. Quiet location close to shops, restaurants and a beach.
Vitali is an excelent host and his apartment is a very good choice if you want to have a base in Costa Blanca.. From Albir you can visit many beach cities and have needed infrastructure of markets and restaurants while also having a basic kitchen in the apartment.
Fabulous location right back from the beach..
The hotel is also well served by a variety
Of bars and restaurants an easy stroll.away.
The options for a later check out and for
Picnics and mini bars are a great idea.
Pleasant reception ans bar staff .
The hotel was well taken care of, clean and lovely personal and the spa was good. We go for spa and a relax weekend and in october it was perfect. I think in summer it have been to much people and "alive" in the area for those that need relax.
- Very nice, kind and friendly staff.
- Spacious appartment (bigger than it seemed on the pictures).
- Very clean.
- Very quiet although it is in the centre of Albir.
- Beautiful seeview.
- Great parking.
- Would 100% recommend.
Really great location just 20m from the albir beachfront lovely views in the morning and evening. Good size and has all the facilities. Massive TV and WiFi. Owner really nice and personally showed us around.
- Breakfast buffet was fresh and well stocked. We loved the fresh pastries :)
- Staff were helpful and friendly
- Location is perfect and nothing in Albir is more than a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel
we didn't eat at the hotel as lots of restaurants were nearby and our friends have never been to albir before and we only had limited time to visit so many places ,the location was excellent.
The staff were really friendly and it was exceptionally clean. (Authentic Spanish).
The pool area appears to be the newest part of the Hotel and is really nice and modern.
We stay a month in Spain every year and this apartment is first class . Rita on reception is by far the best and most helpful rep we have had. Thank you
