After a long intercontinental flight we were greeted on arrival by the shuttle driver with a sign with our name on it. We stayed for one night and were happy to use the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The diner was good, the breakfast with waffles baked on demand was excellent. Very friendly staff, a great way to start our Ecuadorian adventure!

Quick, easy drive to and from Quito airport. Breakfasts were included and fantastic. Property was beautiful. It's only walkable ti one restaurant. Hotel Taxi anytime we needed it. That was super helpful.

Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela. There is a small fast food cum basic restaurant just 50 metres down the road. Also by the footbridge are two well run and more sophisticated restaurants. One is very rustic, with a wide menu and serves grilled meats like local lamb , sausages and beef which are very tasty. Wonderful, secluded property to relax before or after a long flight. Close to Airport and can arrange pick ups. Breakfast is included and made to order. Other meals are also available. Grounds are nice with lots of surrounding open spaces and mountains. Rooms are well appointed and bathroom is large. I had a very pleasant, peaceful experience.

I had checked intobtje upgrade with booking and could not seem to cancel it, phoned the hotel and explained my problem for no results. Could have been because of the language barrier. I liked the hotel but it is too much money for whst it offers.

I arrived late at night for a 1-day layover, and had an early flight out the next day so it was a good choice given our flight timing because the city of Quito is pretty far and a 45-minute+ drive from the airport. It was pretty easy to get ubers to and from the city for a tour during the day. The breakfast is simple but fresh and tasty and served on a nice rooftop terrace. The room is very big and clean, the free breakfast is a plus. It is very close to the airport, we can make my early flight easily. Do not live inside Quite itself as it is very far away from the airport, about one hour without traffic. Choose this hotel instead and save you trouble and money as the room is very reasonably priced. Thank you to the hosts of this hotel.
