Worth a visit. The wine restaurants with life music is just from an age, when Germans started to travel again after WW2 in the sixties, but it is fun, original and people are very nice and friendly. I'll definitely do it again with guests from oversees!!DDominicGermany - 10Scored 10

The staff were very helpful and friendly, all areas clean and well maintained even though hotel is slightly dated, but this just adds to the character of the building. Breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order and plenty of yogurts, fruit, juice, breads, meats & cheeses etc Room spacious, well heated (required as visited end November for Christmas markets) with good powerful hot shower. We chose because it had own on site parking as we are on a road trip and were glad we did. Would definitely stay here again.

The locals were very friendly especially our host Thomas. The wineyards are beautiful and we loved the gondola tour up the mountain while we walked the trails down the mountain. Lovely view to a castle from our room which had a small balcony. Bed was very comfortable and could be lifted at the head or feet, great for reading. Room was clean, good breakfast and we also had dinner there. Nice choice of German food, the steak was very good and cooked as I requested which was medium. Family run, you can book river cruises from their reception and the service is friendly. I would stay here again.
