The presentation of the room and throughout the hotel was gorgeous with numerous Art Nouveau and Victorian furniture & antiquities. Beautiful garden sloping to the lake. The continental breakfast was just perfect, superb choice and beautifully presented (10/10 for sustainability as very little single use plastic) The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Outdoor fields for our dog to run and roam, lovely lake for human and doggy swims together (at the bottom of the field away from the hotel is a small secluded beach - perfect!). Dinner in restau was simple but so good. Wine list was great. Breakfast was faultless. A place I know we will come back to.

The property is located very close to nature and hiking trails, but the old town of Plön is still easy to reach by walking, which is especially very nice if you choose to do a little detour and walk along the lake.ThomasGermany
