I liked the room and the breakfast. The hotel also had a very friendly cat who would greet you every morning.
The bed was also good.

Lots to see and do for a family holiday, especially if you do not mind travelling a bit every day. Especially good if you like hiking in the many nearby woods and hills. In the city there was a zoo, botanic gardens, museums, galleries and several places to swim (indoors and outdoors). We also made trips to Zittau in Germany to ride on the steam railway, the three border point (CZ, DE, PL), Frydlant castle, the Jizerka hills and Bedrichov.

Liberec is a great city with plenty to do with a family of children between 4 and 12 years old. There are lots of great shopping malls, great parks for the kids which are much better than the UK, for food and eating out it’s cheaper than UK. The supermarket food prices are the same as UK. It’s easy to travel by bus or coach from Prague airport but I would recommend a car to make the most of it. It’s 90 minutes from Prague and the motorways and easy to drive on. Things we’d recommend- Aqua Park, Babylon, Fun Park Babylon, IQ Landia, Hop Arena a trampoline park, Park Mirakulum and Fajn Park are both worth a day out if you have a car, they are 90 mins from Liberec but worth it for kids 4-13 years old. The Eco Park in Liberec is great, the zoo, the museum and the area around there is beautiful with all the architecture. Definitely the nicest part of Liberec. And there are plenty of walks and nature to explore around Jested, Bedrichov, and Javornik which are all accessible by bus. All these areas have ski slopes but are great in summer too for the toboggan runs and parks and walks with the family. The main things are the quality of the parks, the rides, the swimming pool in Liberec is great and cheap! Slides, jacuzzi, hot and cold plunge pools and sauna and steam rooms. Also if you like Saunas try Saunia in the Forum shopping centre. This place is as good as any sauna and spa hotel in the UK FLR about £15. We’ll worth a visit and I can’t wait to go again. Weather wise Liberec has 4 true seasons. The summers are sunny but the winter is cold with deep snow. Enjoy your trip. Hope this helps a little.

The city is nice and interesting, but do something with the public transport schedule!!!
Google doesn't have any schedule!!!
It's not good in XXI century, that transport companies of Liberec don't want to give that information

Liberec is a beautiful and calm city.
Liberec is a beautiful and calm city. Actually it was a golden mean between a bigger city and a smaller town, because there are plenty of activities available like zoo, IQ park, Babylon aquaplace or regional gallery, but still, not so many people walking around.

Great to wander around the old town - and the trip to the top of the mountain by cable car is wonderful and it's definitely worth the treat to eat in the restaurant at the top, the decor is a must
Classic art deco style hotel with lots of original details including an old elevator (there is a new, bigger elevator as well). Fantastic location smack in the middle of Liberec old town by the main square overlooking the court-house. Very affordable secure parking to the back of the hotel. They have started renovating the rooms and the triple room was brand new incl a balcony, very comfortable beds and nice bathroom.
Owner was very friendly and spoke English fluently. Online check-in was straight forward and once we arrived at the hotel around 23:30 we could easily get inside without staff. It took us about two minutes to enter our room.
Breakfast was quite good, especially since it was free. Parking was easy and many spots where available, we used the EV charging there and it worked perfectly! Overall a nice stay.
Breakfast was great - it was not huge, but very tasty. The rooms are very clean, so are the bathrooms. The hotel is on the last floor of the building, so the view is exceptional. Location is perfect! You can go almost everywhere by foot!!!
The staff is very helpful and focused on improving everything what's possible. It is 20 km from Polish border and you are in very cozy Czech city.
Location was fabulous for being near to Liberec Bus and Train Station...10/15 minute safe stroll..even at night. Friendly arrival..expect an Inn/Guesthouse stay. Lots of hot water..nice flatscreen t.v. Complimentary Tea/Coffee on landing..nice welcome jelly sweet. BILA Supermarket just 5 minute walk up the road...despite being on a main road..I slept very well!
Hotel is close to main attractions,, short walk and you're at the main square. It's rather quiet area, though, so no risk of loud tourists or party-goers (if thete are any in Liberec). We git the room outside main building, with separate entry. Room was big enough, with clean bathroom and comfy bed. Breakfast sekection was good, nothing to complain about.
I chose this hotel for the following 2 reasons:
- location (close to the university)
- price (we preferred a reasonable price instead of a number of stars)
The hotel absolutely suited our purpose and if I ever go to Liberec again, I will choose this place again.
Special greetings to the very helpful lady preparing breakfast!
Staff was very friendly and service minded! This hotel is on top floor of the modern building and the room was almost new and clean giving a luxurious feeling. Breakfast was great with view over the city. Location is central with restaurants and shops at walking distance.
The location is very good - close to the beautiful main square of the city as well as places to eat or shop and opposite a nice park. The interior design is stylish and consistent throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast.
Breakfast was good. I would call it a Czech+ breakfast. They had a selection of CZ breads, rolls and cakes along with cold cuts and cheese. There was also a hot table with CZ sausages, eggs and beans.
My stay was changed to Pytloun Hotel Imperial so my comment is for it. Good location, very friendly and professional staff, room was equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, and superb bathroom. We were satisfied with the variety of food at breakfast, but the quality of the provided fruits and vegetables not so much.
Good food in the restaurant. The rooms have very interesting designs, the overall look of the hotel is fresh, modern. Very friendly staff, they go the extra mile to help you out.
Beautiful hotel with old world charm. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet each morning was freshly made and delicious. Very happy with our stay!
