We were here for fall train trip and it was nice.
We were here for fall train trip and it was nice. Not needed again though. We went to a different place for every lunch and dinner. We had 2 serving staff that weren’t of a spicy attitude. The other 2 were nice and friendly. The food was fair but nothing that was amazing. I won’t go to the Sault again. Very pretty area though!

We went for fall foliage and were not disappointed- it was gorgeous! Hike Robertson Cliffs! We also did the Agawa Canyon Train and, hmm. We had hoped for a spectacular train ride, and it wasn't. The canyon itself is gorgeous, but you get 1 1/2 hours there which isn't much considering the train ride is 8 hours r/t. Most of the other passengers were elderly though so it seemed about right for the less mobile. We enjoyed the canal site and all the historical markers, but unfortunately went on Sunday and discovered the visitor center is closed on weekends. Huh? The seaplane museum was open and fascinating.

No police in Sault Ste Marie?
No police in Sault Ste Marie? People were drag racing up and down the Main Street in front of hotel all night. Hotel was dated and shabby but clean. For the price it wasn’t good value at all. I’ve paid similar rates at hotels that were well kept and updated. It was clean and staff were nice though.

We drove north of Sault Ste Marie along Lake Superior.
We drove north of Sault Ste Marie along Lake Superior. Absolutely beautiful. We drove up to see the pictographs but I was not able to complete the hike as it was pretty rugged. But my husband did and he got some fabulous photos. Luckily he did not go swimming due to the wet, narrow ledge.

Exceptional service and our King room was very nice with a relaxing view of the sunset in a quiet area. Great job by housekeeping staff who paid attention to details to provide a clean welcoming room.
Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Complimentary Covid bagged breakfast was nice to take with us for the road. We recommend this hotel and will stay here again for sure.
Exterior is very updated and modern, front parking lot is very well lit and well managed. The bathrooms had excellent water pressure and had good Dove brand amenities, which you never find in hotels so that was great! Lastly, breakfast was great, staff were very friendly, and air conditioning in the room worked very well!
Location was ok and friendly staff . For a two star hotel it was fine. So just have that in mind . The gent that signed us in was very friendly and had said that if we didn't like the room we could come back and get refunded. But honestly had long drive and didn't want to continue searching for a room .
Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly.
The hotel is older but seems to be fairly well maintained. The front doors marked Hotel Lobby Entrance are locked and you need to enter through the hotel through the parking garage but here was no sign to direct guests that way.
The room and washroom was clean and comfortable. We liked that you could still choose between a breakfast sandwich, muffin or bagel for the packed breakfast bag where most hotels just give you a bag with a bagel these days. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disappointed that there was no Continental Breakfast as there is in other BW’s ….was told this BW is now privately owned but still use the brand so no more breakfast!
Beds we’re quite comfortable & room was very clean! Hotel centrally located!
This hotel was great. The room was clean and the little bench in front of the window was sooo good. The hotel staff were very helpful and in these times of covid were great made us feel comfortable during our stay.
Staff were friendly.
Room was very small but furnished in a way that makes it comfortable. Generally rooms in other hotels do not look this nice in this price range.
Good free coffee dispenser on main floor.
Easy to check in. Loved the location with restaurants nearby. Very quiet and our dog loved it. The room was very clean and more spacious than other hotels . Reasonable rates.
The hotel felt like it had been updated recently and had a more modern feel to it. Also really appreciated the breakfast selection! Great value for a one night stay.
Location. Beautiful water views.
Rooms were large. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Lovely staff.well kept hotel. Nuce to ha e a Starbucks within the hotel
