Our stay at the Inn was exactly what we needed. We were walking distance from everything in Charlottetown and we didn't even have to leave the property for our breakfast. We had fresh fruit and the best french toast.

We absolutely love Charlottetown! There are many great restaurants and pubs; some down by the waterfront that are some of the best!! The Olde Dublin Pub, 131 Sydney Street, Charlottetown is energetic and exciting; young and enthusiastic and we are semi-retired and really enjoyed it. The background music could make you want to get up and dance. It really is one of the best places to go for an evening. Cost of food was as normal as it is in most other restaurants. We loved every minute of it.

This was my second trip to Charlottetown.
This was my second trip to Charlottetown. The first was many years ago. The city is abundantly interesting, with both older and newer buildings. The older ones are far more interesting. It has a very historic sense and feel about it. And of course, it is right on the atlantic, which makes it vastly more interesting. We went out there for the Anne of Green Gables tour and attractions, and even though you could see them easily within a day, they did not disappoint. People were generally quite down to earth and friendly.

I love this beautiful little city.
I love this beautiful little city. Everything if you like to walk, is within walking distance. There is so much to offer. The intertainment is bar none, the music, food, history. And don't forget the theater. I am never disappointed when I visit. I go back each year.

Charlottetown is beautiful.
Charlottetown is beautiful. The Main Street leading down to the waterfront has many restaurants and stores. It is a very walkable area. Getting around to see everything was easy. Even driving to see the rest of Prince Edward Island was a breeze. The people wherever we went were extremely friendly and helpful.

Great food, great people, lots to see & do.
Great food, great people, lots to see & do. Something for everyone. Shopping is great. Local artists talents are amazing. Very easy to navigate through the city, can see so much walking around.
Must see/do: Victoria row, excellent food, great live entertainment.
This hotel has a great blend of historic charm with modern amenities. The lobby area in particular feels steeped with history (and it is, Queen Elizabeth II stayed here!). The room also has heritage feelings with wooden doors and accents - but a modern bathroom that has clearly undergone recent renovation. I slept great, but my partner did find the beds a little soft. We loved the location - easy to walk to different spots in the historic downtown area. We would stay again.
I booked this hotel thinking it would be value for my money and it exceeded my expectations. It is perfectly situated downtown, walking distance from most attractions. The bed was superb, extraordinarily comfortable with great pillows. Rain shower was a nice touch. Reminded me of a nordic hotel, very clean, offering just the basics (e.g.., no TV but good wifi) and exceptional quality with friendly responsive staff. Will definitely stay again.
This historic hotel has been exceptionally maintained to be consistent with the past without looking dated.

Rooms are cleaned during your stay upon request.

Hanna was a great host! Her welcoming enthusiasm and hospitality related to our first stay in PEI was greatly appreciated! The home-cooked breakfast was perfect both mornings of our stay! The location of Colonial Inn was perfect for both walks and easy driving within Charlottetown.
Different style of hotel which we really liked. It was just a 2 min walk to Victoria St where most of the restaurants we went to was. We basically walked to any locations around downtown. Breakfast was neat as well. Staff was extremely friendly and a place we would def recommend.
The entire property is a surprise, with exquisite design and historical heritage. Beautiful suite, nice breakfast, complete facilities and great location. Our stay was so comfortable and well beyond expectations. I would recommend everyone visiting Charlottetown PEI stay here.
Due to Covid-19 breakfast was in a brown bag, ok for situation we are in. Room was OK, a little dated but beds were comfortable and clean, Location is great walking distance to everywhere in Charlottetown, PEI. Excellent parking for larger vehicles and quiet location.
The location is very convenient for my visit. It is close to shopping when needed and to the company I had business with. The hotel is pet friendly which is very important to me as I travel with my dogs. The kitchenette is handy and makes getting meals lower cost.
This was a real gem! It was so close to Downtown Charlottetown that I was able to walk everywhere. The couple running the B&B were absolutely wonderful! Very responsive to messages and requests! Also the continental breakfast was great!
Fabulous location right near downtown Charlottetown. Easy walk to all the sights.
Beautiful historic property. Property managers are just lovely and very helpful.
Excellent on-site parking.
Room was a good price and location was convenient to Charlottetown, other parts of PEI, restaurants and stores. There were kitchen facilities in the room, including pans and dishes.
It's bright and clean, definitely exceeds my expectation for a motel. The AC works adequately for a family suite on a hot day. Good price for PEI and close to airport and downtown.
Clean, comfortable room in a gorgeous historic building. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great location from which to walk to Charlottetown’s downtown and waterfront.
We loved everything about the property, our room, and the yummy breakfast. We will return for another night as it is close to everything downtown Charlottetown.
