My wife and I checked in around midnight on the 20th of February 2024, we had a smooth check in and the duty manager
went out of his way to help us choose a room of our liking by showing us three different rooms!!! That was exceptional!
We had booked a standard room, but we were upgraded to deluxe category.
The dining options at the Gulf Hotel are just unbelievable...and they have live music at most of the venues and we had a wonderful time at the mexican restaurant Cantina with live music and dance. The ambience of the bar is amazing too with
both indoor and outdoor sitting. In all, the Gulf has seven to eight restaurants offering different cuisines like Italian, Mexican, Iranian, etc. They also have a plush cigar lounge..
The pool at the Gulf is just outstanding and whether you're with family or by your self it is the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon or evening.
To top this all is the location.... you step out of the Gulf right onto Block 338 which is the most happening area in Manama,
full of bars, restaurants and lounges where the action begins as early as 10 am and continues till the wee hours. Breakfast
at the hip Cafe Lilou is a 'must do' for anyone visiting Manama!
