It's one of the best cities on the belgian coast if you like tranquility and if you're not to fond of the commercial side of things. It's a small area, you can easily walk to most parts. Great restaurants, great beach terraces, fantastic clean beach, no crappy casino's. There's also a great indoor pool if you're planning to go with kids and come across a rainy day.maartenBelgium

Tasty breakfast with large variety of food. We had dinner on our first night and since it was on a weekend, we could choose from a 3-course menu for an affordable price. Here also a large choice of different, tasty meals freshly prepared. The room is equipped with a comfortable (real!) king size bed. Our short trip of 3 nights was simply perfect. Going for a demonstration of shrimp fishing is an absolute must. Be it by fisherman on foot or on horseback, it all starts at the waterline just in front of the hotel's square. It is exotic, and it is fun for kids as, they can run around to save little crabs and baby sole fish from the seagulls as the fishermen discard them.AndrasBelgium
