The city is this weird mix of Comunist era housing blocks, historic parts, lots of greenery while still very much being "modern Balkan".
It's hard to describe, but I really liked the vibe of this city.

You can hike along the surrounded mountains and have a beautiful view to the city;
You can find many different restaurants in the center, the one I like most is hukic pekara (founded in 1890) who bakes the delicious bread from "charcoal" oven;
No direct bus from the airport to the city;
No clear bike or walking way on the main roads;
Buy a 15GB/5Days simcard for mobile internet with 4 KAMs in the airport once arrival.

Great place to visit and enjoy.
Cousine is excellent. If you are carnivore be sure to order "cevapi" / "cevapcici" in Limenka or Sarajka. Pro tip: they are both great and you can use that spark lokal opinion discussion.
City is evidently prospering and people are positive and polite.
Definite go to.

i hope it is only temporary but the city smelled of creosote, like a train station. dirty, abandoned buildings. seemed almost empty. has a long road to recover. i will never go back to Tuzla...then there is the 6am wake up screaming of some religious temple...blah blah blah blaring from speakers at 06:00. i do not need to be awakened by some superstition

Tuzla in Autumn is just amazing that I didn't expect,the colors attractive me so much,I couldn't stop to take photos. And the weather is perfect,during I stayed even it was just short time but I do really recommend you could visit there if any chance. It's a calm city not for tourist but that's just good to visit to see the real city it should be.
Apartement was new, modernly furbished and spotless clean. It was spacious enough for 2 people and had everything we needed along with a designated free parking space. It is situated on 15th floor (out of 16, and yes, building does have an elevator) so it offers a great sunsest view of Tuzla from a small balcony. It is located 5-10 min walk from city center and entrace to Pannonica lakes. Communication with host (Jasmin) was smooth, as was check in and check out.
Exceptional communication with the owner. The most secure and modernized apartment we have ever been. Beautiful view of one part Tuzla with surrounding hills from the 15th floor (yes, elevator).
We did not cook, but why, when you have 5-10 minutes walk to the old Town full of restaurants and caffes.
Nearby are few grocery shops, pharmacies and even an urgent care facility.
Amazing apartment, right across the street from a beautiful shopping mall. Very short drive to the town center and Pannonian Lakes. The host is amazing! She waited for us for an hour due to our traffic issues. She was very accommodating, explained everything about the apartment to us. Thia was a very nice experience! 😊 We know where to go next time we come to Tuzla.
The famous Hotel Tuzla, one of the landmarks of the city- spacious lobby, fabulous room size, modern and high end design bathroom, perfect for business or leisure engagements, highly recommended
Delina from housekeeping dept., very diligent, professional and crafty, she should be on front desk
Highly professional and friendly staff. Very good location, five minutes on foot to the Tuzla old centre. Nice room. Although it is close to the road, the carpentry is good, and there is no daily noise. It's quiet at night. Breakfast is served in a nice space, including excellent Bosnian coffee.
Excellent apartment, very clean, nicely decorated, cozy and warm, the heating is very good (since we were there in November). The city center is on walking distance, shops and markets are near by also. My recommendation to everyone who wish to visit Tuzla - stay at Ajla apartments 😊
This apartment was really clean and well-decorated. It was such a pleasure to just look around the room during the stay. The location is also close to the centre of the city and overall I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay in Tuzla to check this place out.
Modern hotel, located just a minute by foot from the historical part of town. Private parking on site. Room was comfortable and quiet. Wifi was good. Breakfast included and made to order. Hot pot for making water.
Everything was clean and nice, location is perfect, it is in the center of the city, everything is just a few meters away, and the best restaurant in Tuzla is in the building next to the studio.
Comfortable hostel just around the corner from the main square. Everything was quite fine, breakfast was good, staff were very friendly. Perfect for a day or two in Tuzla.
