The inn is as elegant and beautiful as an Oriental fairytale, but what impressed me the most is the service. The dignified manner, the politeness and the hospitality of the staff who treat you as a dear guest in their country is something I have not experienced for years. They are there for you 24 hours.
The location turned out perfect. From my room (#8, second floor, spotless, two French windows, electric fireplace, large well-designed shower) I could see the Maiden tower and the Caspian on the horizon (all I dreamed about). The view from the restaurant (open 24 hours) - on the terrace on top - is breathtaking. At breakfast (delicious, made to order) you watch the rooftops of the city slowly waking up and at night you are as if soaring over the city lights of the Baku Bay. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet, with some live music playing. After a day of walking, I came up just for a pot of local tea and dessert and it was amazing.
I would like to thank all the staff for this wonderful experience. I would definitely come back.
Some possibly useful details. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. If you install the Bolt app, it's 7 manat. I just took a taxi for 30 manat (beautiful drive). A 7 minute walk takes you down to the water - to the Baku boulevard. Nizami street with busy night life and restaurants is 5 minutes away. The location is quiet on one hand, but on the other hand it's not dark or remote to be scary at night. The entrance is well lit and opens to a square with a historic monument. It felt really safe.

First of all the weather was soo lovely on April with temperature of 20 in the morning and 16 in the evening.
Baku is a lively city.. Nizami Street is full of energy from morning till next day morning.. There are many places to visit such as malls, gardens, museums.. From my point of view spending 2 to 3 days in baku are enough..
There are many restaurants such as Indian, Korean, japanies, Italian and many other along with the traditional food of Azerbaijan. Visiting the other cities such as Guba, Qabala, Shiki, Shahdag.. Spending one day in each city is enough.
The transportation in Baku is very easy.. With an application called ( Bolt) you can go every where with very low cost.
The visa card is accepted every where.. It's more safe than caring cash.
I advised the travelers to choose a hotel near Nizami street because it's very close to all the needed spots.

Upon my recent visit to Baku, I was utterly captivated by its beauty, which far exceeded my expectations. The city presents a unique blend of ancient architecture and modern developments that coexist harmoniously along the Caspian Sea's shores. From the medieval walled city of Icheri Sheher with its historical landmarks such as the Maiden Tower and Palace of the Shirvanshahs to the contemporary Flame Towers that adorn the skyline, Baku's aesthetic appeal is undeniable. The meticulously maintained parks and the long promenade offer locals and tourists alike an opportunity to bask in the city's natural charm, which is further enhanced by its vibrant cultural scene. Every turn within this dynamic urban landscape revealed unexpected delights, leaving me with an enduring impression of Baku as not just a bustling metropolis but also a hub of cultural wealth and stunning vistas.

We recently traveled to Azerbaijan and, sadly, our experience fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were scammed by a Bolt driver from the airport to our hotel. Additionally, we found the local people, particularly the cab drivers, to be unfriendly and quite rude.
We also encountered issues with our accommodation. Despite booking an apartment on Nizami Street through Booking.com, the apartment manager directed us to a different, less appealing location than what was advertised.
On a positive note, the food was enjoyable. However, beyond that, there was little else to recommend.

Baku, Azerbaijan, presents itself as an inviting destination...
Baku, Azerbaijan, presents itself as an inviting destination for a quick getaway, offering a delightful blend of culture, history, and modernity. While the city boasts an array of attractions and experiences, including its picturesque old town and stunning waterfront promenade, one aspect that could be further enhanced is its culinary scene, particularly in iconic spots like Nizami Street.
Baku's allure lies in its ability to cater to various interests, whether it's exploring historic landmarks like the Maiden Tower or indulging in retail therapy at the vibrant local markets. However, for many travelers, food plays a pivotal role in defining the essence of a destination. In this regard, Baku could elevate its appeal by incorporating more local cuisine options along the bustling Nizami Street.
While the street already offers an assortment of dining establishments, ranging from international chains to cafes and bistros, the addition of more authentic Azerbaijani eateries would undoubtedly enrich the gastronomic experience for visitors. Traditional dishes such as plov, kebabs, and dolma showcase the rich culinary heritage of Azerbaijan and would provide tourists with a deeper immersion into the local culture.
By promoting and showcasing its diverse culinary offerings, Baku has the opportunity to position itself as not only a visually captivating destination but also a culinary hotspot. The integration of more local food options, particularly in prominent areas like Nizami Street, would undoubtedly enhance the overall appeal of the city to travelers seeking an authentic and immersive experience.
In summary, Baku serves as a charming getaway with immense potential to further elevate its appeal, particularly in the realm of gastronomy. By expanding the presence of local cuisine options, the city can create a more enriching and memorable experience for visitors, solidifying its status as a must-visit destination in the region.

Although Baku has the potential to grow and be a nice destination to visitors from abroad, a lot of Azerbaijanis are very desperate for cash. You could be surprised, but there are different menu options in almost all businesses. One is for locals and another for visitors. And this is not the issue really, rather this is how the system is separating locals from visitors. Discrimination is a respected value of the culture.
First and last time forever Baku.
Room has got a lot of space, bed is comfortable, big bathroom with all cosmetics and towels needed.
Breakfest is in a nearby hotel, nothing special (problem even with scramble egg) but it doesn't matter because you can eat delicious and cheap in the city.
The staff was very helpful.
Hotel is in the centrum so it's close to the most important monuments and places.
Very safe area. Definitely worth to choose this hotel for staying in Baku. Hopefully I will come back.
Relatively new boutique hotel, it is located inside the old city gates just behind Four Seasons, this hotel is within walking distance to almost all major sightseeing points in Baku City. They have excellent room amenities matching five star hotel for a fraction of the price. All staff are courteous, friendly and very helpful. Restaurant has delicious local cuisine for lunch or dinner that can be ordered for additional cost. Overall highly recommended.
The location is perfect for enjoying the city. The suite room is the best one in the Hotel and the staff is superb especially Farid who helped us with airport transfers and Shahdag transfers. The balcony is perfect to sit out and have a cup of coffee. There are stairs to reach the hotel so it's a good idea to remember that, the staff help you with the luggage on stairs and have a lift for the luggage too. A great place to enjoy our stay in Baku.

And the room was so clean and comfortable.
Lots of restaurants, shopping and amenities within walking distance,

One of the best hotels at baku. We stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect experience. The staff for reception, room service and restaurant are so kind and professional, food & breakfast are delicious and it’s worth to try it. Room service is prefect and they take immediate actions. Rate is 10/10 and we will comeback ♥️
This hotel is inside old city area. It is very close to all sightseeing places of Baku. The room was with balcony, very neat and clean. Breakfast is OK. They serve Continental breakfast. I was expecting more traditional breakfast. Staff was friendly. Most importantly they serve free water bottles as much as you need.
Not in the very centre, but only 10 minutes walk to buses that go into the city. Decent mattress and overall clean state of the hotel/room. Nice breakfast buffet. Nice guys at the reception, always ready to help and one of them even gave me his Baku card to use. Some small eateries and a nice restaurant in the street
City Park Hotel Baku. Being close to the center is one of the best aspects of this hotel. Friendly receptionist and manager Salim did everything for our comfort. I will definitely stay in this hotel when I come to Baku. Thank you for your attention to me and my family!!!
The best thing is the location of the appartment, in the center of the old city of baku , near to juma mosque and its totally walking distance from the iconic Maiden tower
Also, the owner is such a good person, very cooperative in case of any neeed
I recommend it
The location was superb, it was the best location being a tourist.
Go for the Breakfast option nearby specially in the old city to try their local breakfast, it would be worth more than having breakfast at a hotel - use the best out of staying at a good location.
In the heart of the old city, beautiful room with hardwood floors, great marbled bathroom, full breakfast with eggs, rooftop with 360 degree views of the city. Incredibly good value for the price in comparison with other hotels in Baku.
Location, staff, room and others, it's on Nizami street main city centre, everything is walkable Maiden tower, carpet Museum, Deniz Mall, all government museum and many more, i recommended best hotel in Baku
Location is within old city of baku surrounding lot of shops ,coffee shop and restaurants, also hotel decoration is very antique and comfortable .thanks to elexander and pasha for their good service
