The setting was spectacular.
It was a big adventure for us oldies.

The lady at the reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Attempts had been made to upgrade the room and bathroom. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the bed covers and maybe organise the air conditioners, after you put in the cupboards. Ours was hidden slightly by this misjudgment but it didn't stop the room from being cooled.

Definitely need to book well in advance as after the floods there is still limited accommodation due to so many tradespeople in town doing repairs.
Definitely try out the Seymour Special pizza at Seymour Pizza and Pasta on Anzac Avenue or any of their pizzas. Great taste and price.

Pros: Location was close to where I needed to be for work.
Pros: Location was close to where I needed to be for work.
Bed was comfortable. Pillows not so much.
Has a microwave.
Front desk lady was lovely.
Cons: The adjoining room door did not have a lock on my side so I didn't feel comfortable knowing the lock was in another persons room.
Quite a decent gap under the front door which was not great when there has been flooding and ALOT of bugs and mosquitos around.
No cutlery to eat dinner with only teaspoons.
Bathroom had squashed bugs on the walls and outside of toilet bowl wasn't clean.

Really good value for a Budget Motel.
Really good value for a Budget Motel. The three most important things were a comfortable and fresh bed, good hot shower, and air conditioning to warm the room. Very happy. Plus the locals were all so welcoming and lovely.

Enjoyed dinner at the river, the river park was right on the bend of the river. Checked out the steam train at the station and Vietnam veterans memorial very good. Nice driving around the bush near by and lake nagambi
After a 10 hour drive from Sydney, we really needed a break. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. As we were travelling on Good Friday, my husband was particularly pleased to see there were beers in the bar fridge! Bed was super comfortable (we had the King size). Staff was lovely, hotel was quiet. Netflix was great. Shower was divine, lots of hot water and good pressure from the 'rain style' shower head. Have recommended to friends if they need to break a driving trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Would definitely stay again.
Cleanliness & daily room servicing by friendly motel staff. Although located directly on the main highway into Seymour, the rooms were quiet. I did not realise the accommodation is considered 'budget' style but can see eg: itinerant workers being happily accommodated there.
Excellent place to stay in Seymour, massive house in the centre of town. I can’t praise it enough, the host was very responsive, checked we were ok, but wasn’t intrusive. Really comfortable, clean and fantastic kitchen.
Location. My wife and I were traveling from Port Campbell to Mt. Panorama, a 994 Km drive. I decided to spend the night in Seymour, which is about 100 Km north of Melbourne. Motel is basic, but did the trick.
Very good room apparently recently refurbished. I've paid a lot more for a lot less in lots of places including Seymour. Happens be an easy walk to the Royal Hotel bistro as well.
Vaulted ceiling cabin.
Feels so comfortable and fireplace adds so much warmth and atmosphere
Comfortable big bed and plenty of room
Bathroom nice size
Wifi was a big plus too
Great place to stay for our one night stay in Seymour. Had everything we needed including a small fridge. Bathroom and bedroom were clean and close to everything.
