Such a pretty town, with the best of both coastal and rural views & activities.
A big variety of Great restaurants and cafes, with friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating available at nearly all businesses.
A huge variety of other stores as well, clothing, toys, books, pharmacies, supermarkets, post office, op shops, specialty boutiques, information bureau - the list is endless.
All this, yet the small town feel, remains. 🥰

Lovely beachside town.
Lovely beachside town. We went there over Easter, and would consider going back again for longer. Went to Jamberoo, and had an awesome time! Kids enjoyed it more than Wet n Wild on the Gold Coast. But that was mainly because it wasn't crowed at Easter, and the queues were much shorter, so kids had a lot more time actually going on the rides, than waiting in queues. Lovely coastline to explore. We also visited the Illawara Fly and did the Zipline tour. What a lot of fun! and beautiful views and forest.

The hosts were so accommodating.
The hosts were so accommodating. The bed was comfortable, the studio was modern and clean including the bathroom and kitchen. The view from the deck was sensational. Walking distance to Kiama Coastal Walk. Good sized yard. The hosts were contactable and readily available for assistance. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Bernie and Joan for all your help! ;)

Kiama had a few beaches to go to.
Kiama had a few beaches to go to. There are a couple of rock pools that seemed very popular with the locals and tourists. The blowhole is always a big draw card to Kiama. The local fish market had school prawns which I haven’t been able to buy for quite awhile. If you like good coffee, you will not be disappointed. The Kiama Leagues Club was just down the road from our accommodation and our meal was very good. There is a very nice coastal walk with excellent views.

Kiama is a beautiful little town.
Kiama is a beautiful little town. The views are the draw card, around the harbour and the blowhole . It’s very walkable but hilly so be prepared. There is a bit of building going on improving facilities in town. A new shopping centre. The Salvos shop is awesome , large, clean and well spaced. The Vinnies shop is also a lovely place to browse.
The cafes and restaurants are numerous and staff lively and energetic.
Top tip; get off the main drag and see the side streets too, it’s very pretty.
Terrible accomodation - this is at a PUB, which was not advertised when I booked. People I didn’t feel safe around live at this accomodation. Loud at night. Cigarette smoke smell in room and bathrooms. I didn’t actually make it through the night and had to leave… Booked for 1 week and had to leave the first night because I felt so unsafe here and deceived by the booking.com listing. DON’T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU’RE AWARE IT’S ABOVE A LOUD LOCAL PUB WITH METH-HEADS LIVING HERE.
The quiet location, and beautiful view of the Kiama lighhouse and sea, were an absolute highlight! Having a bottle of sparkling wine and cheese platter waiting for us on arrival was just delightful, and the accomodation provided eveything needed. Breakfast was especially generous. All of the small touches added up. Recommend to anyone needing a perfect city break! Thank you, Marilyn. Was a joy!
The location, in walking distance to local cafe and tourist attractions, the market along the water’s edge on Sunday morning were fantastic.
The cabin was clean and presented nicely, The outdoor barbecue facilities were fantastic, The cabins were situated in a nice quiet location considering the blowhole tourist spot is so close by with lots of traffic, which wasn’t a noise problem.
This is one of the best apartments I have stayed in. Location is central to restaurants and the beach is just a short walk. This location is perfect for younger families that need something for the little ones, with a great park and oval nearby. A quiet location, you can either spend the day in the room relaxing, or wondering around Kiama.
Once I foundit ...things were great But you were painted a different colour and you called yourselves something different too. I got lost in transit My mistake But the location helped The Surf coming in made me feel safe I love that aspect of your Hotel. The Feeling it Gives Me.
Nova Kiama is a fresh and inviting boutique hotel. Great facilities including a secure car park at no extra cost and the Kombi coffee cart serves great coffee.
Staff are friendly and very helpful. It is in an excellent location, close to the headland for a lovely stroll.
This amazing homey property, was centred in town within walking distance of everything. The self contained apartment was clean and unique, it gave off a magical feel. It was easy to access upon entering Kiama, the property had beautiful natural flowers and plants.
Breakfast options were available at nearby restaurant and bookings could be made through the hotel. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. A large tv. I had a nice stay. Kiama is a lovely scenic place to stay.
Fantastic location - beautiful views of Ocean waves breaking onto the coast - 2-min walk to a rock-pool & fresh fish shop; 10 min walk into Kiama town center. Well planned and appointed cabins.
Such a nice hotel. Had a really comfortable bed and a really nice shower. Also used sustainable toiletries which was good to see. Will definitely be back to stay next time in Kiama
Cheap and cheerful is an apt description for this accommodation. It's close to the main street and convenient to access the majority of Kiama in walking distance.
This is an attractive property set in spacious gardens not far from the centre of town. It is easy to get to yet far enough away to be very quiet and restful.
