The Caloundra area is really nice. Many hotels to pick from.

The Caloundra area is really nice. Many hotels to pick from. Depending on what you're looking for.. i.e., Kings Beach is a happening area. Golden Beach is a little quieter. Places to visit are The Real Grocer, Cali Breeze for awesome burgers and fish and chips, and Amici's pizza (make reservations early when you know you want to go). The Amici Special pizza is the bomb! The RSL Club is nice to visit... loved the tribute to the military.

I liked the access to the pool and Chill89 cafe. We stayed on level 2 and it was a lovely view from our room to the waterfront across the road, the pool and the gardens. The gardens were kept very nicely which I loved. I loved the different pool options. The toddler pool was great for my little boy and the bigger pool was great for my older child. The warm spa was great for parents. Location to the beach was great for a quick walk and play on the beach in the late afternoon to watch the sunset.

Location, location, location! Rumba Beach Resort is situated in the best part of Caloundra. You have the beach across road and spoilt for choice with the multitude of restaurants and bars that are located ground level of the hotel. The heated pool and jacuzzi was the great way to unwind after a long day of exploring. In addition, the bar has happy hour between 4-6pm daily. Which it makes it harder to leave the pool area. Highly recommended for families.

Nothing. Staff were rude. Pool was out of use. I have never stayed in a hotel where I I’ve had to bring down my own rubbish. We were left with little to no toilet roll, shampoo or conditioner. We were advised to stop walking through reception. This is our first experience in Australia and we feel we’ve been taken advantage because we’re travelling. They’ve put us in such a bad position.

Modern laundramat, kitchen & bathroom facilities our bedroom, PERFECT! I wish he had accomodation at all the stops were going to stay. He is superior to hotel & motel accommodations & the shocking thing is its so cheap.

The facilities are great for the kids. The bar at the waterpark is a great touch for parents as well! The water was nice and warm at the waterpark as well and it felt safe for little ones. The music was a great touch that gave it a real holiday feel!! Easy to grab a coffee in the morning as well on the way to the playground with the kids.

The unit had a fantastic view over Bribie Island and of the Caloundra lights at night. The pool is good although the weather was starting to cool when we were there. From our balcony we were able to see the ships coming and going from Brisbane Port. It was a short walk to the Golden Beach shops were we were able to get our groceries.
