Great location for a stopover from north Qld Coast to Brisbane. Great beach area close to town. Tourist information centre well staffed and attractions in the town easy to get to. Lots of good food locations.

Bagara & Bundaberg are both very pleasant places to stay in. We were only there for a couple of days, and it rained most of the time. We intend to go again, and this time go to Lady Musgrave Island. As our trip had to be cancelled as the weather was bad & it was too rough. There is a lot to see & do around Bundaberg. It's a very nice & friendly place.
Next time we would like to stay for a week if we can.

We traveled to Bundaburg for the Lady Musgrave Island excursion - that was amazing and completely worth the time. However, the town itself is a bit dated/boring - the only thing we really enjoyed were the bats at dusk.

There is so much fresh produce you can buy direct from the farmers. They sell on market place, when you get there they have an honor system. There is the bundaberg distillery, gin factory and if you want a nice meal you could try the Brothers Sports Club also grunskes restaurant they also sell fresh fish best prawns I've tasted in awhile. Also try the old bundy tavern they have great lunches and a cold beer to wash it down 😉

Great little town, very close to Great Barrier Reef (southern tip of the Reef is less crowded and is the best!) experience and boat to the fabulous Lady Musgrave Island.
Plenty of places to eat and shop.
Loved the trees full of colourful yapping birds in the town centre!

Lived in Bundaberg for many years before moving to the Sunshine coast in 2012 but we still come back too see family and friends as is such a beautiful place, though it is quite sad seeing the amount of homelessness there nowadays 😥 .
This lovely one bedroom unit is perfect for a weekend stay or week long base.
Being outside Bundaberg’s CBD there is very little noise to disturb your evening or a sleep in the next morning.
Everything has been thought of with use made of all the space to provide designated sleep, dining, lounge and bathroom facilities with an outdoor table and chairs on a small deck.
The decor is tastefully arranged.
Our hostess was welcoming and a complimentary breakfast a lovely addition.
Locations was good. The little table beside the bathroom basin was good for toiletry bags. The value for this cabin was very good, which was more like what the cost used to be like. Prices have gone up too much to some Bundaberg properties that are filthy and under-rated but expensive. Because this cabin could fit a larger number of people than the two of us, we found the lounge setting was an added benefit to our short stay.
The entire apartment was allocated to us. The facility was very neat ad new/ modern. It is located in a quiet zone and yet not far from CBD. It felt like your home with exceptional facilities including washer and drier, full capacity to cook as well. Lots of space for a family. Check in/ out was easy. Parking was free and readily available. I have stayed in Bundaberg before but this property has been the best so far!
The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Rory the Receptionist assisted me to amend a booking and was very helpful. The cleaning are staff are wonderful and always say hello. If you want a delightful Bulgolgi ask James the owner to cook it for you. Very delicious and a traditional Korean meal at its best. The Barista's are wonderful coffee makers. The cafe is a little gem of Bundaberg.
This property is in a fairly good location not too far from the center of Bundaberg. The room is a reasonable size, and the kitchen facilities were pretty good. Eggs, bread, yoghurt, juice and milk were supplied for breakfast each day. The bed was comfortable, and the wi-fi was pretty good. Overall we were happy with our stay here.
The location was convenient to the train which was our mode of transport to Bundaberg. It had room for parking the car we hired. The room was clean and tidy. The fresh milk instead of long life milk was a nice bonus for the morning cuppa.
Management & other staff were extremely welcoming, friendly & helpful. Pet friendly accommodation also. The room was clean & tidy. Excellent accommodation overall & I would recommend it to anyone who visits Bundaberg.
We loved the view of the river, the spacious & clean room, the shower pressure, the location of the hotel (in the city centre), the comfortable bed and the friendly staff.
room was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Exterior appearance of the hotel was not welcoming and there were no restaurant facilities available for my stay.
Good location. A bit quirky but ideal for one night stopover on our road trip. Nice town, lovely botanical garden and cafe and the Bundaberg distillery shop!
