You get what you pay for. It's not the most luxurious but it's called econo lodge for a reason. The bed was very comfortable and provided the best sleep I've had in a while. I ran the air conditioner all day so the room was ice cold when I came home.

Bagara & Bundaberg are both very pleasant places to stay in. We were only there for a couple of days, and it rained most of the time. We intend to go again, and this time go to Lady Musgrave Island. As our trip had to be cancelled as the weather was bad & it was too rough. There is a lot to see & do around Bundaberg. It's a very nice & friendly place. There is so much fresh produce you can buy direct from the farmers. They sell on market place, when you get there they have an honor system. There is the bundaberg distillery, gin factory and if you want a nice meal you could try the Brothers Sports Club also grunskes restaurant they also sell fresh fish best prawns I've tasted in awhile. Great little town, very close to Great Barrier Reef (southern tip of the Reef is less crowded and is the best!) experience and boat to the fabulous Lady Musgrave Island. Lived in Bundaberg for many years before moving to the Sunshine coast in 2012 but we still come back too see family and friends as is such a beautiful place,though it is quite sad seeing the amount of homelessness there nowadays 😥 .JenniAustralia

It is also very close to the Bundaberg Base Hospital, the Burnett River and parks. The CBD and train station are not far away. Once we got the room cooled down with the air-conditioning, we were able to turn it off and just have the ceiling fan on. The chairs were nice and soft to sit on. The staff were very nice and followed up my online booking with a phone call to confirm.
