Peaceful and beautiful setting. House had everything we needed for our short stay including some thoughtful touches like eggs for breakfast and the hammocks. Loved the firepit and outdoor bath and waking up to bird song.

We liked the property and location. Check in was a breeze, plenty of cookware in the kitchen, Also a nice fireplace though we did not use it

We were travelling from Brisbane to Tuross Head and this was an excellent place for an overnight stay. It is a small town but it has a supermarket, petrol stations and restaurants/cafes. We ate at Oliver's and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a flat tyre and we were able to get it fixed quickly at the local mechanics/tyre repair business, Buladelah Tyre and Mechanical.

Bulahdelah was a great little overnight stop.
Bulahdelah was a great little overnight stop. It is a very small town but has friendly people, pretty location on the river and surrounded by mountains. Great coffee at Cafe on Main. Pizza good from Lady Jane hotel. We didn't get to have breakfast at either of the cafes but what we saw looked great.

Only stopped overnight so didn't really get to see Bulahdelah except for the walk to the pub from the motel that evening and a look around in the morning on our way out. It was a quaint town and would like to go back and explore.

Bulahdelah is a small but apparently thriving small town off the highway, close to several National Parks & the coast. There are a number of cafes, a pub/bottle shop & a supermarket. Finding a parking spot on the "main drag" was not a problem.
I had lunch & breakfast at the Cafe next door to Mountain View Motel. Both were well priced, & a plentiful plateful.

The town is quite pretty, set on a river with craggy hills behind however, if you are driving north, don’t fill up with fuel because it was MUCH cheaper several minutes further up the highway. Pub was lively.

Not much to like.
Not much to like.
My 3 interactions with 2 business on a cold & drizzly night - Motel & Hotel down the road - the staff were uninterested, unsmiling and offered little or no friendliness.
I said to my wife - that best thing about Bulahdelah is that the highway bypasses it. Certainly (on this experience),wouldn't recommend a traveler to stay overnight.
Pub meal was good - that's it!
I can't thank Patrick enough. My trailer tyres blew on my way home to Nambucca Heads, so my wife booked the Mountain View. When arriving Patrick went way and beyond and offered me his trailer tyre so I could get my trailer and its goods off the side of the highway and park it at the motel until the morning when I could get the tyres changed. This kind of caring and help is in a shortage these days. Yes, the hotel is old, but it's clean and the service is A+
Thank you Patrick!

Staff so kind - Lent us Betadine after missing a small step at Sugarloaf Lighthouse! One also walked to the shops for bread for one guest :) Felt like we slept on clouds - Slept so cosy and peacefully! Room size bigger than expected with fridge, microwave, kettle and open access to the beautiful outdoor area and breakfast where we met some lovely guests :) We couldn't see the view as there was heavy rain, but what a pretty area Bulahdelah is generally, when driving in or around there!
Excellent guest focussed management - Patrick contacted us a week prior to booking to advise they'd had a large booking from biking club - and to ensure a good sleep/ stay - they'd booked us at the Bulahdelah Motor Lodge (couple of blocks up the road) - in a more expensive room with the price difference paid.
We greatly apprciated the good business sense & thoughtfullness - (I'm sure many may well say nothing)
Thanks Patrick - much appreciated
Bulahdelah Motel was super convenient. very clean and comfortable. We arrived at 11am, parked out the front of the room walked 4meters from the car to the bed and kids crashed as soon as they lay down. Super convenient and efficient stay on the way up to Tweed River Valley region.
An older motel but looked after with great care in an interesting way. Very clean and complete, Most comfortable bed. Slight eccentric touches made it interesting. Very conveniently situated in the centre of Bulahdelah. Easy stroll to shops and pub.
Room was clean and as expected for price.
Restaurant had great meals
All staff were very friendly and accommodating of children. Hotel was close to town centre we could walk to get lunch and staff recommended a beautiful cafe.
It was an unexpected delight staying at this hotel. From the complimentary drink on arrival to the warm and comfy bed and the the pizza's were excellent. Try the apple and cinnamon dessert pizza. Amazing.
