Cute town which provides access to the ski slopes and Victorian High Country. It's easy to get to and once there you are spoilt for choice with bike trails, hiking or even leisurely strolls. There are tons of cafes, bakeries and restaurants, catering for all dietaries and cuisines.

The prettiest town we have seen. The Autumn trees are stunning as were the beautiful tree lined streets. The river has so much history with gold mining and caters for all in terms of fishing, cycling, walking and swimming. A village like atmosphere that offers great restaurants and is central to other tourist sites in the area such as Mt Beauty, Myrtleford, Beechworth and Falls Creek.ChrisAustralia - 10Scored 10

We arrived as the power blackout occurred in eastern Victoria so didn't get a chance to use our 4-day booking. The management however was very good and refunded our booking without question as we had to leave due to uncertainty of the return of power to the area.RonaldAustralia - 10Scored 10

We ate at Tomahawks and Suganya’s and both were delicious. Kate took us to Mountain Valley Tyres and Angelo was fast and courteous in replacing our tire. Bright is in close proximity to Mount Buffalo NP with excellent hiking trails. Would love to come back.KathleenUnited States - 10Scored 10

I was very lucky with the weather, as Bright was warm and sunny. Bright is a pretty town, with tall trees lining the streets. There are lots of good cafes and restaurants, a walking trail, public toilets near the rail trail, and a public market near the river on weekends.

Location was perfect, bedrooms were perfect, kitchen was perfect, bathrooms were perfect. The garage and the access into the house made it so easy to keep the house clean while still enjoying messy sports such as MTB and hiking with kids. Really the facilities were awesome for a holiday in Bright! Got to enjoy all of Bright, Biking and hiking through the day to bars and restaurants of a night. Loved it! The hotel had everything you need (BBQ, washer and dryer, pool) the grassed area inside the hotel was superb lovely. Special shout out to the cleaning staff who very very helpful/ utterly delightful. The rooms are nice and cool- very good in summer. Will definitely be staying here again!
