Bargara is a small coastal resort but with quite a few coffee shops, eateries and a nice hotel. It's clean and tidy and close to several beaches - some are surf patrolled. It's a small place so you will probably want to venture further and there are a number of day cruises to the reef etc.

The host was very friendly and accommodating with late check in. There were no problems with 2 dogs (1 in each room). The coastal decoration was lovely and the space was small but very cosy, which made it very comfortable. Value for money to the max! I'd definitely stay again and for longer next time.

My cousin in Brisbane recommended it.
My cousin in Brisbane recommended it. We (family of four with kids aged 13 and 9) stayed for five nights and had a grand time. Nice beaches, good coffee shops and places to eat (especially Bradlee's fish and chips and the pub at the Bargara Beach Hotel) and some fun excursions: Mon Repos beach for the turtles and the boat trip to Lady Musgrave Island are both good (but book in advance) and, nearer 'home', we enjoyed testing various flavours of excellent lemonade at the Bundarberg Barrel and going nuts at Macadamia Australia. Great for a relaxing few days by the sea.

Great beaches. Aldi, Woolworths, chemist etc. Restaurants.
Great beaches. Aldi, Woolworths, chemist etc. Restaurants. I highly recommend the Red Chilli Thai takeaways/ restaurant. Authentic Thai. Beautiful flavours. Also See Street fish & chips is good. Good friendly service from both.
Early morning walks with dog on beach great. Don't forget to carry doggie poo bags. Council bin at beach for disposal.
Grand daughter practised her driving on L plates around Bargara/ Bundaberg. Good area to do that.
Many interesting tourist things in Bargara/ Bundaberg.

False Advertising.
False Advertising. The photos on booking.com is not of the room that was offered. The room was stinky and there was no regular room service. Was even asked to take my rubbish with me. Very outdated room and tired. No east access to beach, have to go through the basement and open an old, outdated roller door. I think a bit overcharged for what I got. Don't like being lied to so don't think I will be ever going back there.

Bargara is a lovely beachside town near Bundaberg, Queensland.
There are drives to many places but we went to Tinaberries on two occasions. The ice creams there are absolutely the BEST and can be enjoyed in their farm surrounds.
Good food is available at the Bargara Golf Club which also has a wonderful view of the sea. The Bargara Beachside Hotel and Asian Cuisine also have very good meals at reasonable prices, but they are not haute cuisine.
Visitiing the Bundaberg Rum Factory is a must, and will be enjoyed.
This is a place to relax and we did not go out every day,
Although Pacific Sun is an older property it has been tastefully fitted out with all the comforts you need and a very comfortable bed. it is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to everything including the beach. This hotel had the best information compendium I have come across which was full of very useful and thoughtfully compiled information about the area and dining options available. The owners were very friendly and responded quickly. Big thumbs up!
The location, being doggy friendly and close to everything in Bargara. Only a short walk to the beach, clubs, restaurants and pub.
Sam& Nicole are absolutely wonderful, boasting both a calm and friendly presents that creates the relaxed atmosphere this quirky motel has to offer.
The motel has the added bonus of a communal kitchen, lounge area and outside courtyard. Beautiful and well maintained pool area and more.
The place was very tropical and the grounds were just gorgeous. The design of the cabins allowed for great privacy. It was a short less than 5 minutes to the beach and a quick 5 minute drive to shops and restaurants. We didn't get to use the restaurant as it was either booked out or closed.
Our unit was a spacious one including its own laundry area. Furnishings were in good condition. The kitchen was well provisioned with the necessary items to facilitate an extended stay. The property has its own beach front with chairs at the upper beach area to relax. Good internet.
Extremely clean house, not far from the nice Bargara and Mon Repos beaches. The host was accomodating and very quick to answer to our requests. There were not enough cutlery for the 7 of us when we arrived, but the lady kindly came to provide us with what was missing.
location and view were excellent. Being located right next door to the Bargara Beach Hotel that has excellent, reasonably priced meals and amenities was a bonus. Beach and excellent walking pathways across the street from Hotel were well used.
Location was excellent in this small town, stone's throw from the beach and town facilities. Immaculately clean, super comfortable bed and good out of hours check in. Nice new bathroom. Bargara is a little gem, well worth a few days.
Great location about 900m away from the main hub of Bargara, easily walking distance, right near the surf club and a great swimming beach. The surf club had a great little coffee shop to relax and enjoy tgr waves and a drink.
The unit was very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for a lovely stay. Being so close to the beach was wonderful. So much outdoor dining and lounge space too! It was great to be able to bring our dog along.
The ocean view room was incredible, right on the beach and the roar of the waves at night was the best. It was great being able to walk from the hotel onto the beach. Comfy bed and modern entertainment system.
Bargara is a beautiful location, Bargara Blue is situated close to the beach and a short walk to shops and cafes. A beautiful peaceful relaxing place to spend a few days or a week.
The host was very welcoming and the room was very clean and tidy. Very well kept and maintained. Close enough to Woolworths and Bargara beach front with either a car or a bicycle.
The view of Bargara beach was beautiful. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Beds where comfortable. Overall, a beautiful clean, well-maintained resort.
Not very impressed with a set menu. I picked Kacy's over other hotels in Bundaberg for the restaurant. I did not want to have three courses. so went to the pub next door.
