Very cute place! Great location, walking distance to shops & restaurant. The kitchen was very nice to have and we ended up cooking breakfast and even dinner one night. Would stay here again!

Breakfast was very nice, though a little limited for a vegetarian. Some tomatoes would have been nice to go with the scrambled egg. Pamela was a superb host at breakfast. She was efficient, very friendly and most helpful, as were all the staff we met.

Absolutely loved the stay in Casa Dos Barcos Furnas. We felt privileged to have the opportunity to stay there. The house has a history and it feels special. The owners left the food basket with the fabulous local produce, which was very much appreciated. We also had the acces to bicycles and kayaks which made our stay even more special. Every morning we would go to the garden opposite the goose to see the chickens that welcomed us running very excited. Very special stay. One of the kind. Loved every moment. Thank you 😊

The view from the terrace was breathtaking and definitely the highlight of our stay in Ribeira Quente. We were delighted to receive a welcome gift upon arrival, and the apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. However, accessing the apartment with a car was quite difficult. It would have been nice to have more toiletries and a hair dryer available for guest use. Despite these minor inconveniences, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a stunning view.

Everything was absolutely lovely. Fatima gave me such a warm welcome and some great recommendations for things to see in the local area. She also upgraded my room as I was the only one there, so I had a beautiful view of the mountains. Whole place was really comfortable and clean, and I felt safe in the house and area even though I was the only guest. The breakfast was really fantastic, so much on offer including delicious homemade jam. I would definitely stay again!
