The beautiful view over the Kowie River and the delicious breakfast.
Quaint town. Beautiful seafront. Summer weather is outstanding. Town has all of the conveniences one wants. Supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, take aways, banks and ATMs. Boat and canoe hire. Extremely popular town over the Easter and year end holidays. With good reason!

We just love Port Alfred, it is Quiet and not overcrowded / Pick n Pay Centre very nice - very friendly locals / Of course Guido's wonderful pizza / beautiful golf course / 28km of river to cruise up / the Rosehill Mall not too big, actually small but sufficient with a huge Spar. Car wash while you shop. Overall is Port Alfred just the perfect place to stay - right in the centre between East London and Port ELizabeth - 150km each way.

Port Alfred is a wonderful small town on the coast with many beaches and the river that one can boat on for quite some distance. In the area there are many other attractions such as museums, the giant pineapple, game reserves and other small towns that are worth a visit.

We stopped here for a night on our trip along the garden route. We were pleasantly surprised at this little coastal town and how beautiful it is. We ate at a restaurant called Tash's and the staff were so friendly. Being accustomed to Johannesburg pricing, we were also blown away by how affordable everything is in Port Alfred. I would think that during peak months, it could get quite busy, but early September seemed to be a good time to visit this cozy time.
Having this be my very 1st time in Port Alfred, i could not have asked for better accomadation than the Beach Cabin In Port Alfred Sands. To me this was a home away from home with my familuy. Best part of it all was the view of the ocean from our rooms, spacious deck (great for breakfast in the morning) as well as the braai area back of the cabin. If you looking for a place to stay away from the city life, some place quite and peaceful but also very entertaining, this beach cabin is it. It's a must. Highly recommend.
Great spot nearby the beach and some restaurants. The apartment was cosy and had everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The living area was great for chilling out and the seating area outside would be an ideal spot if you wanted to have a braai. Highly recommend. Marlene was excellent with communicating and her son met us to show us the place and give us the keys.
Burnette, the hostess, is friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed sitting outside on the top veranda. The water was filtered, pure and plentiful. Breakfast was delicious! Parking was safe and on site.
We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay in Port Alfred.
The self catering chalets are in a beautiful location. Each room of ours had a view of the sea. They are well kept. The resort is kind enough to give you a supply of drinking water. We needed laundry done and they even organized someone to do it for us at a small fee. The security guard at night is thorough. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The staff was very welcoming and quick to assist with anything we needed anytime. She was very friendly. The place was neat, near good restaurants and shops. A stone throw away the beach. Will definitely book again when visiting Port Alfred.
No there was no breakfast there, you cook your own food,Then as for the area... its very very nice and safe i recomend it for anyone who wants to visit Port Alfred thou.
