Have stayed in Scarborough before and it was very nice.
Have stayed in Scarborough before and it was very nice. We have family in the area and we wanted to find a place to bed down and relax. It was a nice home. A few things needed repair but overall it was a great place. The ocean was across the street and fit our nerds well.

Scarborough is a beautiful, quaint town in Maine right in the coast. You can get lobsters to cook or buy them already steamed. Close to Old Orchard Beach yet far enough away to be away from all the chaos. Loved it there. Would definitely go back.

the air conditioning was either poor or not working
we had to call from toilet paper, but it was delivered
the tub did not drain, we called but it was not fixed
the restaurant did not attend to us or provide a menu for 30 minutes, then told us after we ate it was not included, although I thought it was based on the website.

We were in Scarborough due to it's proximity to Falmouth.
We were in Scarborough due to it's proximity to Falmouth. I will say it is really conveniently located, and there are a multitude of great places to eat and drink.
We did not explore Scarborough as our destination was elsewhere. But what we did experience was very positive.

Scarborough is near alot of things - South Portland for all the shopping and eateries, coffee, etc - which is nice, but we have been there, so we stayed in Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth - There is a park there where the Portland Light is - Fort Williams. Spectacular views, and a great food truck inside the park called Bite into Main. There are also beautiful cliff walks too and a gelato truck where they serve Affogato al Cafe - vanilla gelato topped with a shot of hot Espresso ( sometimes they do this with the alcohol shot too, like Kahlua, Amaretto, etc, but not sure if THIS food truck does this, I am just saying how it is made in some places). Also visit Crescent Park State Beach - ( Cape Elizabeth) gorgeous views there too. Check out O'Reilly's Cure Restaurant and Bar ( Scarborough) - nice place with good food for lunch and dinner - and then we went to The Good Table, for lunch the next day in Cape Elizabeth - this was good, simple, had a tuna melt wrap on flatbread, and sweet potato fries - they have very good coffee here, rich dark , and flavorful. I always notice the coffee.

The bed was comfortable.
The bed was comfortable. Don't like hotels this was pretty decent. There were some stains on the wall next to the bed I didn't like that. It could have been cleaner. But I have stayed in much worse. The place didn't give me the heebie-jeebies. I didn't expect a grand hotel because I wasn't paying a whole lot of money. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We chose this location for the indoor pool and hit tub, so we were very disappointed when we arrived and were told that they were both closed for renovations. The property manager and reception staff were great though, and quickly allowed us to change our reservation to a nearby sister hotel that at least had an indoor pool available to use. Would love to go back and actually stay the night, once the pool and hit tub are available again.
The location was decent and the room itself wasn't bad and as advertised, had a fairly nice little kitchenette. Bathroom was decent sized, and plenty of pillows. Fairly nice view of a man made pond from our window. It also had a real full sized refrigerator. It was still a fair value for a single night stay as far as hotels go, especially in this area.
We stayed for family vacation. Two great restaurants (kid friendly) border the hotel parking lot. Hotel is 15 minutes from Scarborough beach, Old Orchard Beach and Portland with plenty to do nearby. Having laundry on site and a small kitchen were very convenient. Our suite was roomy and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant.
The service was really good at comfort suites inn and suites (Scarborough-Portland )and Amit at front desk treated us really well. Worth to say at this place , the rooms where clean and neat . Service was really quick and the overall stay was satisfying .
Thank you Amit for all the help you have done.
Nice friendly staff. Actually has a real kitchen with
Pots pans and utensils. A large refrigerator.
Most comfortable small hotel. 3 floors.
Will return for sure. Best value for Scarborough Portland and Saco, Maine
The property located right on the beach also had a nice patio with comfy lounge chairs and umbrellas. Owner’s Mary and Steve were awesome, along with all
The guests. it has such a family vibe. Loved our stay there!
We did not eat there. Very old home converted to a small hotel. Lots of character. Very helpful young man was the desk clerk. Very short walk to the beach. On-site convenient parking. Very quiet neighborhood.
Clean and relatively quiet. Close to everything we wanted to do during our stay. This was a last minute reservation due to flooding at our original Vermont destination. No frills hotel but it met our needs.
All the staff were really friendly, the receptionist in particular. We felt that for the price we paid the hotel was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was also a bonus with two young kids.
The location was great. Very convenient for our time here and where we were going. Hotel was very accommodating when we needed to extend our stay an additional night.
The property was perfect. Location was wonderful
Cliff Walk began at the end of the walkway
Scarborough beach very near
Food was good and staff wonderful
