We visited a museum downtown, went to the IVY Club for dinner and drove around exploring. We lived in the area for 5 years back in the mid 80s and wanted to see the changes that had taken place. We didn’t have a lot of time to do much else. Maybe we will return for another visit.

Several beautiful old homes and historic attractions, relaxing views of the river. Bradley University located there. The hotel is cleaner than most others I have stayed. The front desk is very responsive. They actually answer the phone when you call! One day my husband fell asleep on his phone and wouldn't answer. I was concerned and called the front desk. They were very helpful. He sent someone to check on him right away. If you are looking for a clean hotel and a friendly staff this is a very good value for the money.
